The 8 Unspoken Rules That Keep Nara And Lucky Blue Smith’s Marriage Strong
These are some of the things that keep Nara and Lucky strong in their marriage.

This week, Nara and Lucky Blue Smith listed the "unspoken rules" that shape their marriage. What stood out wasn’t LV bags or grand gestures (although Lucky definitely spoils his wife, and we love that for her), but the small choices that reveal the attention and effort they both put into their relationship. Their rules are grounded and thoughtful, and we can all learn from them.
1. Nara Orders for Lucky at Restaurants
The mom-of-four always looks at restaurant menus in advance. “I always scan the menu at any restaurant we go to to make sure that Lucky has options that he likes to eat, and I pick what he's going to eat so he doesn't have to worry about it,” Nara explained. She goes above and beyond by making sure that Lucky enjoys his meal after a hard day's work.
2. She Stands on the Left Side of Him
Nara keeps to Lucky’s left side. Lucky explained, “Yeah, it bothers me if you're on the right because you have to be on the left so I can easily just let you glide.” For him, it’s about being in the best position to open the door smoothly, so that his wife never has to open a door herself.
3. Lucky Is Always Behind the Wheel
Nara is a passenger princess, and they both want to keep it that way. It's always a joy ride for the model thanks to her man! “One thing I do is I drive no matter what. Always,” Lucky said, adding, “I really get bothered when I see girls driving a guy. I don't know why.”
4. Gas, Trash, and Dishes Are His Responsibility
Nara laughed that she hasn’t pumped gas “in years,” because Lucky always fills the tank. He also makes it a point to handle trash duty and dishes. “Because Nara cooks these beautiful meals. So it's only right that I go do the dishes,” he said, noting he actually enjoys it while watching YouTube.
5. Lucky Does the Kids’ Hair
According to Nara, Lucky is particular about styling their children’s hair. “Very specific,” he admitted, while Nara takes over for more elaborate up-dos.
6. Nara Restocks the Hot Sauce
“I always make sure Lucky never runs out of hot sauce,” Nara said. Lucky agreed, adding that the hot sauce is a necessity.
7. The Perfect Salad Rule
Nara makes sure to take out any veggies that Lucky doesn't like in his salads. “When Lucky's eating a salad, I make sure to not put any veggies in there that he doesn't like so he doesn't have to hassle with picking them out,” Nara said. Lucky responded, “It's a perfect salad. Okay. I don't mind vegetables, but cucumbers I don't really like. And tomatoes. Cucumbers and tomatoes can leave.”
8. Warm Feet and Foot Rubs
Nara’s perpetually cold feet have become part of their routine. “I hold them for her. Gotta warm those up,” Lucky said, adding, “And foot rubs. Always give a good foot rub. It's essential.” It's gotta be nice having a human heat mat!
By the end of the video, Nara joked they could keep going, but admitted the clip was already running long. The way they trade off responsibilities and notice each other’s preferences shows how much of marriage is made up of these small agreements that often go unspoken, yet become the glue that keeps a marriage strong.
