The posters for Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie's Barbie have been released to the world to reveal its doll-like cast! Besides Ryan Gosling, there's Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa, and Scott Evans, who all will play a version of Ken. Meanwhile, Dua Lipa, Emma Mackey, Alexandra Shipp, Hari Neff, and Kate McKinnon are tasked with bringing Barbie to life.

A new movie trailer was uploaded to Twitter this morning, and it's already garnered millions of views! The cute teaser starts with Robbie as Barbie taking off her pink heels in her iconic mansion, and it cuts to a scene with Ken (Ryan Gosling) greeting her at the beach. "Hi, Barbie!" he says.

"Hi, Ken!" Barbie cutely waves back. The other dolls enthusiastically greet the blonde bombshell, while the rest of the video plays scenes in a colorful and plastic (but fantastic) Barbieverse. The film will be hitting theaters on July 21, 2023.

The upcoming motion picture made headlines in 2022 when Robbie and Gosling were spotted in Venice Beach wearing neon clothes while rollerskating. The leaked images of the shooting went viral on social media – and believe it or not, Robbie wasn't exactly excited about it. "I can't tell you how mortified we were, by the way," the Australian actress told host Jimmy Fallon. "We look like we're laughing, having fun, but dying on the inside. I was like, 'This is the most humiliating moment of my life.' So embarrassed."

Robbie knew there'd be a "little bit of attention, and probably some photos would get out there," but she didn't expect to send the internet into a frenzy.

As for the plot? We'll have to cop some tickets for this summer to find out. According to Robbie, it's going to be different than we might expect. "'Oh, Margot is playing Barbie, I know what that is,'" she teased in 2020. "But our goal is to be like, 'Whatever you’re thinking, we’re going to give you something totally different – the thing you didn’t know you wanted.'"
