According to the team at Total Shape, "Bella Hadid diet" gets a total of 3,400 Google searches per month. Many women – the younger ladies especially – desire Bella's slim, runway-ready figure. Standing at about 5'9", the brunette reportedly only weighs 120 pounds, sporting an incredibly thin and toned physique. But let's keep in mind that she's considered "underweight," so using her as a role model for a body goal may not be the healthiest choice for everyone.

Let's get to the point, though – what does the Bella Hadid eat in a day?

Bella's Nutritionist Suggests Going Low-Carb

In an older interview with PEOPLE, Bella's nutritionist – Dr. Charles Passler – dished how he keeps his clients skinny. The expert stated he teaches celebs how to change their lifestyle in a way that allows them to maintain goals associated with better sleep, weight management, exercise, and hydration. Bella's focus is staying lean and energized, so she apparently eats a high-protein, low-carb diet.

"It’s adequate protein, adequate fat, and lots and lots and lots of non-starchy vegetables. That is typically the most bulletproof, easiest, soundproof way to make sure that somebody stays on track," said Dr. Passler. "If you eat a lot of carbohydrates, with your protein and your fat, the body’s going to use the carbohydrates for fuel first."

He continued, "The body loves using carbs for fuel. So, the body’s going to soak up all of those carbs, and if then you don’t need any more fuel, the body’s going to just turn the extra calories from the fat and the protein into fat. So, by eliminating the carbohydrates, and consuming the protein and the fat, it not only keeps your calories down, but it keeps your energy stable.”

Bella Hadid's Fridge

Bella has actually shared her fridge on her Instagram Story several times in the past, and everything in there is pretty healthy. It seems carby, processed foods are basically nonexistent in her kitchen. Her fridge boasts several yogurts, fruits, veggies, juices, Kombucha, almond butter, water, oat milk, salami, cheeses, dips, and more.

Bella Hadid's Surprising Go-To Snacks

Dr. Passler's remarks seem contradictory to the many photos of Bella enjoying pizza. In a popular interview with i-D, the 26-year-old revealed that she eats pizza every day. "My favorite go-to snack," she said, "probably a pizza at least once a day. It's always like a go-to because it always, you know, tastes good every time. There's no bad pizza."

Bella added, "Also, seaweed snacks, randomly. Oh, Sour Patch Kids, and rosé champagne if I'm feeling frisky."

The model's confession certainly seems relatable, but people aren't convinced she's telling the truth. As stated by Women's Health, Bella isn't really the type to overindulge. Plus, Dr. Passler's teachings seem quite strict when you hear what he had to say about junk food. "You’re just a person that does not drink soda – I don’t care if you’re at a birthday party, and that’s all they have, then don’t drink anything. I don’t care if you’re the person that loves pizza, well, just minimize the pizza intake or minimize the refined sugar intake,” Passler explained. “In order for somebody to be consistently healthy, the biggest key is to engage in a lifestyle that allows you to own that permanently.”

The conclusion? If you want to stay as lean as possible, stay away from foods that are high in carbs and sugar. Stick to protein, veggies, and fruit instead.
