Bella Hadid Regrets The Plastic Surgery She Had When She Was 14 And Wishes She "Kept The Nose Of My Ancestors"

Supermodel Bella Hadid has been one of the darlings of the fashion industry over the last several years. She has been the face of Versace, appeared in ads for Calvin Klein, and donned the cover of Elle, Allure, CR Fashion Book, and more.

Bella Hadid's latest magazine cover is for Vogue. The headline next to her photo is "A Supermodel Speaks From the Heart." She's stripped down to minimal makeup, free, wavy locks cascading own her bare back, and bare feet. In the interview she spoke about her decision to get plastic surgery at a young age.

Bella Hadid Regrets Getting Her Nose Job

Hadid was only 14 years old when she got her nose job. However, she admits that she regrets this decision. “I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors,” she said. “I think I would have grown into it.”

Her plastic surgery has been the topic of many conversations since she had her breakout moment in fashion. But she insists that her nose job is the only work that she's had done, even though people say that she's had her lips filled, her jaw shaved, and her eyes lifted. People accuse her of taking a photo of Carla Bruni to a surgeon and asking to look like her (they are lookalikes when you think about it, though).

“People think I fully fucked with my face because of one picture of me as a teenager looking puffy. I’m pretty sure you don’t look the same now as you did at 13, right?" she said. "I have never used filler. Let’s just put an end to that. I have no issue with it, but it’s not for me. Whoever thinks I’ve gotten my eyes lifted or whatever it’s called—it’s face tape! The oldest trick in the book."

It's hard to believe this considering the older photos of Hadid that are available online, but we know it's not uncommon for celebrities to deny that they've had any plastic surgery done. After all, they want us to believe that they're just like us.

"I’ve had this impostor syndrome where people made me feel like I didn’t deserve any of this," Hadid continued. "People always have something to say, but what I have to say is, I’ve always been misunderstood in my industry and by the people around me.”
