The Karl Lagerfeld-themed 2023 Met Gala has shown some of the most gorgeous looks the red carpet has ever seen. There have been many classic princess looks with full, feminine skirts, as well as nostalgic ensembles, like Nicole Kidman's gown from her 2004 Chanel perfume ad . But where there is light, there is also darkness, so we have no choice but to highlight some of the worst looks from the red carpet on Monday night, from terrible spins on the traditional men's suit to cutouts gone wrong. Lea Michele Her hair and makeup were beautiful, but her silvery gown was unflattering and had an out-of-place cutout in the middle of her chest. The look aged her and didn't do her figure justice. Emily Blunt It's painful to write this because she's a huge talent who usually nails it on the red carpet, but this dress didn't do anything for Emily and the large bow at the front of her neck made it look like a costume. Song Hye-Kyo The color of Song's gown washed out her porcelain skin and the top part of the dress seemed like the emerging bra was an accident. Kerry Washington Kerry's two-piece outfit was completed with an extreme mermaid skirt that looked cheap rather than elegant. She had a simple black blazer resting on her shoulders that didn't really add anything to the look. Margot Robbie The real-life Barbie is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, but she has a long history of failing on the red carpet. Her Met Gala one-shouldered dress was ill-fitting and resulted in many people asking whether she had it fitted properly. Yara Shahidi Yara's figure is beautiful, but her seashell-decorated dress looked odd and unflattering. Ashley Graham "Too many curves" is the general consensus in the comment section when it comes to Ashley's dress. Some even said she looked like a modern-day Ursula. Ariana DeBose Ariana's dress was doing a little too much, and the necklace with the earrings and overdone makeup didn't go well together.
