Our 10 Favorite Mommy/Daughter Duos On IG

What could be better than an effortlessly stylish mom on Instagram? Answer: a mini version of her that is twice as adorable. We all have those women that we follow on IG that make matching “mommy and me” outfits somehow look incredibly chic and sophisticated as opposed to cheesy.

While many of the women we look up to are open and honest about their struggles with pregnancy and motherhood, they also don’t shy away from highlighting the utterly blissful aspects. Any mom will tell you that it’s not all rainbows and perfectly posed photos 24/7, but that doesn’t mean those moments don’t exist and shouldn’t be celebrated.

Moreover, as a new mom myself, I would much rather see a darling photo of a mom and her daughter frolicking through a lavender field while scrolling on Instagram than a picture of a dirty diaper and a toddler screaming bloody murder in the background. In case we forgot, social media was designed to be an escape (a.k.a. our highlight reel).

I say all of this because I know that oftentimes mommy bloggers catch flack for posting or promoting “unrealistic” standards when it comes to their carefully curated Instagram feeds. It may just be my hot take on the matter, but I’ve gotta say that I’m totally here for it, and you can catch me hitting “save” on every last one of their stunning photos.

These accounts showcase how beautiful a relationship between a mom and her daughter can be.

These mommy/daughter duos are an excellent source of inspiration whether you’re searching for a matching outfit for you and your “mini,” saving posing ideas for your next family photoshoot, or simply want to delight in images that showcase how beautiful motherhood can be.

Without further ado, here are our 10 favorite mommy/daughter duos (and trios and quartets) on Instagram:

@JuliaBerolzheimer

Not only is Julia my ultimate inspiration for feminine fashion, natural beauty, and Southern-inspired home decor, but the dynamic between her and her two daughters, Clementine and Marigold, is the cherry on top. Even if the three of them aren’t dressed in identical outfits, their outfits are always coordinated by the color palette.

While Julia’s fashion sense is a bit more elevated (ahem: expensive) than the typical gal’s, the wardrobe staples that she invests in are ageless and can be worn for years to come.

@BallerinaFarm

From being crowned as 2021’s Mrs. Utah to practicing her Juilliard ballerina skills alongside dairy cows on a ranch, Hannah is as dynamic as they come. She proves that you can have it all with photos of her rustic farm-inspired recipes, elegant dance videos, and candid snaps with her six adorable kids (plus one on the way).

Hannah transitions seamlessly from a glamorous photoshoot with her hair flowing in the wind to milking a cow to mixing up fresh butter. I love that you never truly know what you’re going to get from her. If you’re searching for a refreshing and magnetic mommy influencer to follow on Instagram, head over to her page ASAP.

@MissEnocha

Enocha, an entrepreneur and lifestyle blogger, is as aesthetic as they come. With one baby girl and a second due next month, her feed is packed full of Pinterest-worthy photographs, beauty tips, and Reels that will require you to hit “save.”

I love how Enocha and her daughter London are always matching in neutral outfits that are somehow on-trend and timeless in the same breath.

@LisaDanielle_

One word: obsessed. Lisa Danielle is the ultimate inspiration for dreamy travel content with a little one. Her daughter, Gigi, enjoying a beautiful picnic spread in front of the Eiffel Tower while wearing a beret and girly sundress is *goals.*

While Lisa’s photos and Reels might be categorized as aspirational, her stylish, bright, and feminine content brings me joy nonetheless.

@Sazan

Enter: the internet’s big sister. It’s unlikely at this point that you haven’t come across Sazan’s content being that she’s one of the most established influencers out there. Sazan has been a well-known face in the YouTube community for the past 11 years, but my favorite part of her brand is her podcast “The Good Life” with her husband, Stevie.

Over the years, I have loved watching her become a mom (now to two girls), expand her brand, and share her journey with God in a way that feels relatable and welcoming even if you aren’t a member of the church.

@ShayMitchell

You may recognize Shay from one of the most popular TV shows of all time, Pretty Little Liars, or you may be like me and have discovered her more recently after the launch of her travel brand, Beis.

Either way, with over 32 million followers on Instagram alone, it’s likely that you’re familiar with Shay’s effortlessly cool outfits, hilarious videos, and editorial-style pregnancy photos. Her daughter, Atlas, is undeniably adorable and looks identical to Shay when side by side.

@EliseCook

POV: You live on an Australian farm with llamas, own an idyllic winery, and have the sweetest blonde hair, blue-eyed girl that could easily take the place of a Gerber baby.

When I stumbled upon Elise’s Instagram a few years ago, I was taken aback by how picturesque her life appears. I’ve been following Elise since before she was pregnant with her daughter, Pip, and watching her evolve as a mother has been such a joy.

She has a signature boho style and is always finding the most darling pieces to add to her little one’s wardrobe.

@JessiMalay

I simply cannot handle the overload of cuteness when Jessi and her two daughters, Alessandra and Isa, wear matching outfits. In addition to falling in love with her entire family, don’t be surprised if you find yourself saving hundreds of feed photos featuring her dreamy home that looks like it popped off the page of a Restoration Hardware magazine.

Her creamy neutral home, complete with Scandinavian decor, is the perfect spot for family photos and Reels featuring her daughters that inspire thousands (and sometimes millions) of women around the world.

@AmberFillerup

Enter: my first mom crush. Amber is the first fashion blogger I ever followed and has remained a major inspiration in my life when it comes to pretty pink fashion and motherhood.

Lately, her over-the-top after-school snack photos are what I’ve been saving the most of from her Instagram feed and stories. Between butterflies made of sliced kiwis, strawberries, and PB&J sandwiches, and mini dachshunds made of bananas, I love seeing her creativity come out in such a fun way for her kids to enjoy.

Although she’s a successful woman with several thriving businesses, she always brings her focus back to her devoted husband and three kiddos (plus another baby girl due in May).

@DressUpButtercup

Last, but certainly not least, is Dede with Dress Up Buttercup and her daughter, Rosie. If you’re a mom on Instagram, it’s more than likely that Dede is already one of your favorite influencers to follow simply because of how transparent she is in both her Instagram feed and day-to-day stories

As a mom to a toddler girl and baby boy, Dede has shared her journey through pregnancy twice with an emphasis on styling outfits that will make you feel confident, no matter where you’re at in your postpartum recovery.

Closing Thoughts

Well, there you have it! The mommy/daughter accounts we love following on Instagram. Social media sometimes gets a bad rap, understandably so, for being toxic and mentally draining, but it can also be a place for connection and inspiration.

These accounts showcase how beautiful a relationship between a mom and her daughter can be, whether you’re a ballerina living on a farm, a famous TV star residing in Beverly Hills, or a boho business babe in the desert. Whatever your flavor of motherhood is, we’re sure that you’ll find something you love about each of these women and their adorable daughters.
