A class-action lawsuit alleged that Prime Hydration Grape Sports Drink contained significant levels of PFAS, otherwise known as forever chemicals. According to Logan Paul, the testing mentioned in the court documents was done by a lawyer and "is absolute bullsh*t."

In a video responding to the allegations, Paul said that his company was not a "rinky-dink operation," utilizing only "the top bottle manufacturers in the United States." In addition, Prime Hydration manufactures products that follow practices set by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

In a viral video to TikTok, Paul explains that whoever conducted the test did not "have the right tools or resources to even prove what they're claiming." The CEO said they also retain sample batches of their drink as they come off the production line to ensure customer safety. He ends his video by stating that Prime, compared to mainstream products, is better for your health.

"We're putting out better-for-you products," he said. "Meanwhile, our competitors are on the cusp of getting banned in the United States. The number one sports drink in the world just had SKUs banned in California for using dyes linked to cancer. That is a fact."

He continued, "The difference with us is one person conducted a random study and has provided zero evidence to substantiate any of their claims. Do y'all remember a while back when they said that the FDA was investigating Prime? It never happened."

Paul addresses a viral TikTok of a lawyer who caused the allegations to gain traction on social media. "They never called us because we follow every single guideline and regulations. So Tommy, the TikTok lawyer, four videos in, man, farm those views, get those likes, and get a haircut while you're at it. We'll accept an apology within the next 48 hours. Otherwise, you're going to be representing yourself in a miserable courtroom for lying about our brand."
