Canadian Public Health Officer Releases Awkward Video With "Mrs. Claus" To Convince Citizens To Get The Covid Vaccine

Nearly 3 years after the start of the coronavirus pandemic, there are still governments around the world that are trying to pressure their citizens into getting the vaccine. The Canadian public health officer just released an uncomfortable, cringeworthy video on Twitter with "Mrs. Claus" to try and convince Canadians to get their coronavirus vaccine this winter.

Canada put forth some of the strictest, most draconian lockdown rules on its citizens over the last couple years. Millions of citizens were pressured into getting the coronavirus vaccine (even if they they didn't need it), resulting in many losing their job or livelihood because they refused to bend the knee to the Covid mob. Many of the Canadian government officials are still doing everything in their power to try and convince citizens to get the shot—regardless of whether they need it.

Canadian Public Health Officer Films Strange Video with "Mrs. Claus" to Convince Citizens to Get Vaccinated

Dr. Theresa Tam is the chief public health officer of Canada and on Thursday she posted a video to her Twitter that featured Mrs. Claus, who is described as "chief holiday cheer officer at the North Pole." Mrs. Claus is sitting in front of a green screen, which has been transformed to look like a cartoon version of Santa's home in the North Pole. The two exchange incredibly awkward greetings, leading Dr. Tam to ask Mrs. Claus how she and Santa have been preparing for the holiday.

According to Mrs. Claus, Santa is doing "snow yoga with the elves and reindeers," which is apparently "great cross-training for sleigh driving." She says it has warmed her heart to see all the adults and children in Canada working hard to "keep the holidays safe and cheerful for all."

Dr. Tam says it's been "a tough season with viruses making lots of people sick" but Canadian children have done a good job at taking their vaccine, so they get to be put on the "nice list" this year. How generous.

"Thankfully, Santa and I are feeling as healthy as ever," Mrs. Claus responds. "We are both up to date with our vaccinations, including Covid boosters and flu shots." Then she pulls out the list that she tells Santa to check twice.

"One, stay up to date on your vaccinations. Two, wear a mask in crowded indoor places, and make sure it fits nice and snug. Three, wash your hands to the tune of 'Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,'" Mrs. Claus says.

"Great advice," Dr. Tam awkwardly responds. "Great voice too." She encourages people to stay home and avoid crowded places. "The more items you check off the list, the more protected you are," she says.

The whole exchange is wildly uncomfortable to watch, and you just want to crawl up in a hole and hide from the second-hand embarrassment. It looks like a terrible skit that was meant for young children at a daycare, which is right on par with how the Canadian government treats its citizens.

The video was also shared by popular Twitter account called Clown World, and it generated hundreds of comments that pointed out how cringey the whole thing was. And the kicker is, neither even mentioned the word Christmas during the entire video. They only use the generic term "holiday," despite the fact that Santa Claus was a figure invented specifically for the Christian holiday of Christmas.

"You know your country has finally made it to the big leagues when your government is a regular feature on Clown World," someone commented.

"She couldn’t even say merry Christmas at the end after a video chat with Mrs. Claus," another person said.

Others pointed out the fact that neither of these women look particularly healthy, and yet they're lecturing millions of people on how to take care of their own health.
