10 Of The Best And Worst Dressed At The CMA Awards 2022

The 56th Annual Country Music Association Awards just took place this Wednesday night! The premiere brought in a total of 7.57 million viewers, which featured some of the biggest country music stars, including Carrie Underwood and Reba McEntire. But did these celebs bring their A-game to the red carpet? Take a look at some of the best (and worst) dressed of the night. The Best Dressed Elle King This orange dress on King is just *chef’s kiss*, and the sweetheart neckline is also a nice touch! The bright colors really bring out King's makeup, and the fit itself shows off her natural curves perfectly. Jessica Chastain Chastain’s midnight blue dress adorned with jewels by Gucci is absolutely stunning. The nice cinch at the waist really brings out the star’s curvaceous, elegant figure. Reba McEntire If it were my first time seeing McEntire, there’s no way I would have guessed her age correctly. The 76-year-old has chosen a simple, yet classy, blue dress that just suits her, and we really commend her for making the right choice! Jessie James Decker It’s giving Jessica Rabbit a run for her money – I mean, wow! You would think Mrs. Decker is dressed for the Met Gala with the way she is rocking that red dress designed by Area. Sarah Drew Not too many people can pull off a dotted dress. But Drew looks like a princess straight out of a fairy tale! The actress opted for a white Monique Lhullier gown speckled with gold, and it actually looks lovely with the cape! Kylie Morgan The country singer chose a bright, orange dress that hugged her body beautifully. The mermaid tail complements the snug dress on Morgan, really bringing out her tiny waist. The Worst Dressed Carrie Underwood We love the shades of blue that are present on Underwood's fit! But, I’m gonna be honest – I’m not so sure what’s going on with her dress. It sort of looks like random pieces of clothing were stitched and layered together in a rush. Katy Perry Perry, are you okay? Please blink five times if you are! The “Dark Horse” singer decided to go all out with denim and a big bow for some reason, and it is not a good look. Kelsea Ballerini The popular Balenciaga blue dress that Kendall Jenner walked in herself may have looked great on the runway, but maybe not so much at the CMAs. The material looks almost like latex, which would have been the perfect Halloween costume if Ballerini were going for a blue surgical glove. Miranda Lambert Let’s get one thing straight – Lambert looks beautiful. As for the dress? It’s a meh . The combination of pink and black don’t really complement the “Bluebird” singer, but the silhouette certainly does. And, for a Theirry Mugler dress, the material looks kind of cheap.
