Drawing on years of experience as a TV news reporter, an attorney in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, and a White House staffer, Alison blends her professional background with her love of all things thoughtful—whether she’s hosting friends for dinner, exploring new cultures, renovating historic homes with her husband, or reading her way through a rotating stack of classics, new releases, and everything in between.
