Trace Cyrus just unloaded some wild claims about his ex Brenda Song.

In a string of Instagram replies and Story posts this week, the former Metro Station singer accused Song, his ex-fiancée, of lying about multiple pregnancies, faking a cancer diagnosis, and even staging an abortion complete with fake blood. The two dated on and off from 2010 to 2017 and were briefly engaged in 2011.

“She stole thousands of dollars from me and faked multiple pregnancies,” Trace wrote in response to a comment from a follower. He also claimed she told him and his family she had “breast cancer and a brain tumor,” and that it was all a lie. “She was humiliated to ever show her face around my family again once we figured it out,” he said.

According to Trace, the lies began to unravel after he and his mom, Tish Cyrus, took Song to the doctor. He also alleged that at one point, Song showed up at his house with a bandage on her head, claiming to have undergone brain surgery, which he then “ripped off” to reveal “no surgery had been done.”

“There’s more proof of how f*cked in the head child stars are,” he added. “I hope she’s doing better mentally.”

Trace also said Song once faked an abortion using “fake blood covering the bathroom floor” and that the experience left him feeling betrayed. “Thanks for reminding me of another scenario where I was great loving another person and someone did me wrong for no reason,” he wrote.

None of these claims have been confirmed. Song hasn’t responded publicly, and her team has not made any statements as of this writing.

Naturally, people on X had questions. Why bring this up now, years after the breakup, when Song is happily living her life with her husband Macaulay Culkin? The audience is also sharing how they don't believe Song didn't need his money.

A lot have pointed out the lack of evidence. Others see it as a classic case of public oversharing from someone who, at one point, said: “I’m extremely happy for her. She inspired me to write countless songs and was such an important part of my life.” That quote came from a 2018 Instagram post, back when Song had just moved on with Culkin. Trace wrote, “I will always cherish songs I have … to remind me of our crazy 7 years together.”

That chapter has long closed. Brenda, now 37, is in a quiet, domestic era. She lives in LA with Culkin and their two sons, Dakota and Carson. The couple first met while filming Changeland in 2017 and got engaged in 2022. She recently opened up to Bustle about motherhood, her career, and why she’s chosen to step back from Hollywood’s chaos.

“I had two pregnancies in the same calendar year. It was a lot,” she said. “Once I stepped into motherhood, it made me question a lot: my place in this industry, my place as a woman, ageism in this industry, society’s pressures of what beauty is, what being young is.”

She also said her children changed everything: “My priority is my children, so I can’t just uproot my life and go live in Bulgaria for nine months to shoot a movie.”

Despite the industry pressures, Song has stayed grounded. Her parents live 25 minutes away. She bakes for Christmas while Culkin cooks. They go to Costco. Their kids come first. “You could take pictures of me all day. I don’t care. But when it’s your kids, it’s different. They didn’t ask for this life,” she said.

As for Trace’s Instagram rants, Song hasn’t addressed them. She probably won’t. She's busy being a mom and wife, baking cookies, and staying far, far away from whatever that was.
