The WNBA Isn't Pro-Woman

Countless women grew up under the assumption that the WNBA, the professional basketball league created specifically for women, would do everything in its power to advocate for female sports.

When the league was started in 1996, it was intended to showcase the talents of American female basketball players. Unfortunately, over the years, the WNBA hasn't lived up to those promises. Its treatment of Sophie Cunningham and its advocacy for transgender athletes are proof of its bias.
