The Academy Awards is always the finale of the award season, and all the hottest celebrities let loose at the annual Vanity Fair after-party, which is known to showcase yet another round of show-stopping fashion. Everything Everywhere All at Once swept the 2023 Oscars, bringing wins to Michelle Yeoh for best actress, Ke Huy Quan for best supporting actor, Jamie Lee Curtis for best supporting actress, Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert for best director, and the whole cast and crew for best picture. There were also some memorable looks on the Academy Awards red carpet this year, and many of the actors who attended the award show opted for a wardrobe change to attend the Vanity Fair after-party. Here are the best and worst looks we saw on Sunday night.

Best Dressed at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party

Kate Hudson

Pink really is her color, and many argue that this was infinitely better than the silver, sequined dress Kate Hudson wore to the Academy Awards earlier that night.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall served at the Vanity Fair after-party with a Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown that had a halter neckline and scale-like details.

Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle arrived at the after-party with her husband Dwyane Wade, and from the back, her long-sleeve black dress looks simple. But the front had a plunging neckline and V-shaped paneling around her hips that added a unique touch.

Julia Garner

An expected look came from the "Ozark" star on Sunday night. Her black dress had an oval neckline that paired well with the simple silhouette. The gown hugged her curves perfectly, and she kept it simple with her hair and makeup.

Sofia Vergara

Sofia Vergara knows what works for her when it comes to fashion, and she didn't disappoint at the Vanity Fair after-party. Her strapless gown was gold with intricate beading, and it complemented her figure perfectly.

Lily James

A nude pink isn't easy to pull off, but Lily James made it look beautiful in a strapless gown that had feathering details around the bust. The bottom of her skirt was voluminous and added a special touch to the whole look.

Gigi Hadid

Wearing custom Zac Posen, Gigi stunned in an all-red dress that had dramatic sleeves and a slim skirt. Her hair was done in classic side-swept waves, and she had a subtle cat-eye makeup.

Cara Delevingne

Fresh out of rehab, Cara is looking healthy and gorgeous. Her dress had a unique neckline and looked beautiful on her figure.

Leslie Mann

Leslie Mann came arm-in-arm with her husband, director Judd Apatow, and her gown was unexpected, but it made her glow. With a high neckline and sheer detailing around the chest, it was finished with a full, layered skirt with small, delicate beading. She swept her hair back and paired it all with a red lip.

Mindy Kaling

Mindy arrived with BJ Novak and wore a slim, spaghetti strap dress that looked elegant with her shoulder-length bob. The chrome color went well with her skin tone, and her makeup was gorgeous.

Zoe Saldana

Leave it to Zoe Saldana to make a crop top look elegant at an Oscars party. She wore a cropped gold, shimmering top with a simple black skirt, and something about it came together beautifully.

Hailey Bieber

In the midst of all the drama between her and Selena Gomez, Hailey showed up to the red carpet looking unbothered. She wore a satin black dress with a high neckline and long sleeves; her left shoulder was adorned with a train that traveled all the way down to the floor. Simple and chic.

Worst Dressed at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars After-Party

Tessa Thompson

As beautiful as she is, Tessa missed the mark with a strapless rose bra and a black gown with double-breasted suit details and opera gloves.

Rooney Mara

Known for taking chances on the red carpet, Rooney certainly took a risk with this dress, but it ended up looking more like cosplay gone wrong than elegant and pretty.

Sienna Miller

She usually has a great sense of fashion, but this Vanity Fair dress was reminiscent of Grandma's bedspread, and it was ill-fitting on such a gorgeous figure.

Alessandra Ambrosio

The "naked dress" seems to be in style this year at the Oscars, and Alessandra didn't manage to pull it off. The small silver underwear looked silly underneath the sheer, fishnet gown.

Ciara

Even fans of Ciara were disappointed with her look. It was a baggy fishnet, halter dress with a plunging neckline that seemed to be paired with tiny underwear as well as black opera gloves.

Jennifer Coolidge

We love her to the moon and back, but Jennifer's dress was just too much fabric and the hair was over the top.

Florence Pugh

Where to even begin with this look? Florence is a talented actress who usually has a keen sense of style, but this oversized mauve jacket with black bra and pants looked out of place and unflattering.

Olivia Wilde

Apparently, the bra was the featured item of clothing this year at the Vanity Fair after-party. Olivia Wilde looked like she left the house in a hurry with a leather bralette and a baggy white dress with one sleeve.

Hunter Schafer

A feather as a bra. With a skirt. A swing and a miss.

Danielle Deadwyler

Why pair those gloves with that dress?
