Lia Thomas Wears "Antifa Super Soldier" Shirt To Support An Organization That Is Deemed A Domestic Terror Group
His shirt implies that he has joined forces with Antifa, which is considered to be a domestic terror group that is now focused heavily on "trans violent militancy."
Lia Thomas, previously known as William, made a name for himself in the sporting world as a record-breaking swimmer at the University of Pennsylvania. However, before he started winning medals, he was a swimmer on the male team and ranked 462nd. He decided to grow his hair out and take a couple hormone blockers and suddenly became Lia Thomas. Shortly after, he joined the Penn women's swim team and his many victories earned him praise from advocates of transgender rights. Critics argue that his participation in women's sports provides an unfair advantage, which is clearly seen in his record-breaking results.
The situation becomes murkier when considering claims suggesting that Thomas is struggling with autogynephilia. Autogynephilia, a term coined by clinical psychologist Ray Blanchard, describes a condition wherein a man finds sexual arousal from the thought or image of himself as a woman. Experts say that it pathologizes gender dysphoria and transgender identities, and it is a paraphilia, which is a category of mental illness or mental distress, such as zoophilia or pedophilia.
Details shared by Instagram user @feministrecovery_, also known as Nicole Wawro, suggest that Thomas's private online activity points towards patterns consistent with autogynephilia. Thomas showed interests in cross-dressing, trans-themed parties, and violent interactions involving transgender individuals. Further, Wawro reports that Thomas has expressed fascination with symbols related to paganism and Satanism and that he owns a collection of BDSM paraphernalia.
Interestingly, less than four years ago, Thomas reportedly lived life as a normal man and even had a girlfriend. His abrupt transition and rapid ascent in women's swimming have sparked heated debates about the fairness of transgender athletes competing in women's sports, as well as the general protection of same-sex spaces. The controversy surrounding Thomas has only heightened, as he has seemingly pledged allegiance to a domestic terror group known as Antifa.

On Monday, a photo of Thomas circulated the internet in which he wore a black tank top that said "Antifa Super Soldier." It was paired with black shorts, three belts, and additional straps around the sides of his midsection. It was shared on Gwen Luxemburg's (@mordenkainenspocketvajeen) stories. Antifa (short for anti-fascist) is a militant group that is well known for wreaking havoc in American cities, particularly during the BLM riots of 2020.
Independent journalist Andy Ngo, who was hunted down and violently attacked by Antifa, tweeted, "Trans violent militancy is the current focus of #Antifa. They believe that critics of trans ideology should be silenced, maimed or murdered. Some call for sexual violence against females in particular, as revenge." Thomas has seemingly pledged allegiance to this domestic terror group and made the statement that he is on board with whatever Antifa has in store in the future.
Antifa is responsible for millions of dollars in property damage in the last several years because of the destructive protests that the organization has performed around the country. A poll from 2021 found that 71% of respondents considered Antifa to be a "domestic terrorist group," which isn't surprising after the complete destruction that took place in so many cities the year before.
Thomas donned this shirt just a couple months after he appeared on a podcast demanding feminists to support his trans identity. "You can't really have that sort of half support where you're like, 'I respect her as a woman here but not here,'" he declared. "They're using the guise of feminism to sort of push transphobic beliefs. And I think a lot of people in that camp sort of carry an implicit bias against trans people but don't want to fully manifest or speak that out and so they try to play it off as this sort of half support."
Thomas says feminists must accept him as a woman if they are going to claim to support all women, which is exactly the demand of Antifa recently. Thomas was known for exposing his male genitals in the women's locker room at UPenn while also making it clear that he is still sexually attracted to females, so he fits in perfectly with the Antifa crowd that essentially threatens violence against people who refuse to accept trans-identified males as another category of women.
