Hailey and Justin Bieber just can't catch a break.

Earlier this year, the Biebs (particularly Hailey) felt the internet's wrath after she was accused of being a "mean girl" to Selena Gomez. The hate got so bad that Hailey had to ask the "Who Says" singer to ask people to leave her alone. While the Rhode Skin founder mostly stayed hush-hush about the alleged drama, she finally broke her silence, admitting that "since 2023 started, I have had some of the saddest, hardest moments I've ever had in my adult life, and my mind and emotions have been fragile to say the least."

That wasn't enough to stop the fandom war. Hailey and Justin's fans continue to spread negative content about Selena and vice versa (it's all so tiring). More recently, a rumor was spread that Hailey was pregnant with Justin's baby – which the model denies. She does want to be a mother, though; she just doesn't know when that will happen. "[Motherhood] is something that I look forward to,” she said. “It’s also such a private, intimate thing. It’s something that’s going to come when it comes.”

Hailey Is “Afraid” To Have Kids

When speaking to The Sunday Times, Hailey Bieber confessed she gets emotional about having children. "I literally cry about this all the time," the 26-year-old model said. "I want kids so bad, but I get scared. It's enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can't imagine having to confront people saying things about a child."

I want kids so bad but I get scared.

"We can only do the best we can to raise them," Hailey continued. "As long as they feel loved and safe." The unfortunate thing is that Hailey's fear is legitimate. If she did have kids, people would say some disgusting things about them. Getting hate for a being that you created and love immensely hurts.

Last month, Paris Hilton shared an adorable photo of her son, Phoenix. She proudly uploaded a photo of him sitting on her lap, but he was immediately made fun of for the size of his head. This is a baby we're talking about. She took to Instagram to share her heartache. “Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else's for that matter, is unacceptable," she began.

"This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe," Paris wrote. "I’ve worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return." Then, the next time she uploaded a photo of Phoenix, his head was covered by a hoodie. The fact that Paris felt like she needed to hide her baby's natural features is terrible.

But back to Hailey. I would say that compared to Paris, she gets way more hate due to her history with Selena and Justin. If fans had the energy to continue that much vitriol for Hailey for five years, I can only imagine what awful things they would say about her and Justin's children. I hope the Biebers will find peace soon and that they'll finally feel safe enough to build their own family.
