In the interview, Billie went so far as to say she'd "rather die" than not have children of her own. Raising a family is one of her life goals. But she also said she's nervous about the days when she'll disagree with her kids and they clash on important issues.

“The older I get, the more I experience things, I just think, uuggh, what am I going to do when my kid thinks that this is the right thing to do and I’m, like, no, it’s not! And they won’t listen to me,” she said.

Billie also said she suffered from separation anxiety when she was a child, so much so that she shared a bed with her parents and older brother, Finneas O'Connell, for many years. When Finneas was 10 years old, he migrated to his own bed, but she stayed in her parents' bed until she was 11.

“I was worried about what would happen to them, I was worried about what would happen to me, I was worried about being forgotten.”

“I couldn’t sleep by myself,” Billie said. “If I woke up and my parents weren’t in the bed and the lights were off, I would scream until they came to the door. And I couldn’t step off the bed in the dark because I was certain that there were scorpions crawling all over the floor.”

Nevertheless, Billie Eilish is looking forward to becoming a mother someday.
