Bill Gates Addresses His Relationship With Jeffrey Epstein And Claims His Foundation Never Had A Connection With Him
Tech entrepreneur Bill Gates has somehow become a trusted expert about vaccines, climate change, etc. but people aren't letting him forget about his previous ties to sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. In a recent interview, Gates finally addresses his relationship with Epstein.
Mysterious financier Jeffrey Epstein was charged with sex trafficking and was know for luring in many underaged girls to pimp them out to wealthy men, all with the help of Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently being held in prison. Epstein supposedly killed himself in 2019, but many believe that he was murdered, including Maxwell. Epstein has been tied to many powerful people in the worlds of politics and business, such as billionaires Leslie Wexner and Leon Black, politicians such as Bill Clinton, and royals such as Prince Andrew. Bill Gates has been accused of maintaining a relationship with Epstein and although he has denied it in the past, he was questioned about their connection yet again in a recent interview.
Bill Gates Addresses His Relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and Claims His Foundation Never Had a Connection with Him
In a brief clip shared on Twitter, Gates was questioned about his friendship with Epstein. Melinda Gates, Bill's ex-wife, has spoken out against Epstein and said she didn't like the fact that Bill was meeting with him. “I did not like that he had meetings with Jeffrey Epstein, no. I made that clear to him,” she said, adding that she met him once but quickly realized what Epstein was really like. “I regretted it the second I walked in the door. He was abhorrent. He was evil personified. My heart breaks for these women," she said. The interviewer asked Bill if he regretted his connection with Epstein because of what Melinda said about him.
"Do you regret the relationship you maintained with him against Melinda's advice and wishes?" she asked.
"I've said this.. you're going way back in time, but... yeah I will say it for the, you know, over hundredth time, yeah I shouldn't have had dinners with him," Bill said, stumbling over his words.
"Epstein had a way of sexually compromising people. Is that what Melinda was warning you about?" she asked.
"No, I mean it's... no, I had dinner with him and that's all," he answered.
"And you regret the relationship, the acquaintance with him?" she followed up.
"That I had dinner with him," he responded.
"And the relationship between the foundation and Epstein?" she inquired.
"There never was any relationship of any kind," he concluded.
This isn't the first time that Bill has denied any kind of relationship with Epstein. He told the Wall Street Journal previously that he "didn't have any business relationship or friendship" with him. However, there are photos of the two of them together, alongside other businessmen or politicians. It has also been confirmed that the two met at least three times at Epstein's Manhattan townhouse. The New York Times also reported that employees of the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation visited Epstein's mansion multiple times, as well as a time when Epstein spoke with the foundation and JPMorgan Chase bank about a proposed charitable fund of billions of dollars. Gates is just one of many powerful men that Epstein lured in and created relationships with.
Emails were obtained from Gates in which he praised Epstein for his intelligence. “His lifestyle is very different and kind of intriguing although it would not work for me,” he wrote in 2011 after his first meeting with Epstein. In yet another email, he told his colleagues that "a very attractive Swedish woman and her daughter dropped by" when he was visiting with Epstein. Bill admitted that he "ended up staying there quite late."
Regardless of how many times Gates has stated his regret over his relationship with Epstein, he still tries to downplay the nature of their friendship, but the reports show that they were involved with each other for quite some time, despite Melinda's disapproval.
