Ashley Graham Pens A "Thank You" Message To Her Post-Partum Belly Through A Mirror Selfie

All the moms out there know how difficult it can be to heal from pregnancy, especially if you gave birth to twins. Supermodel Ashley Graham is one of those moms who is navigating the post-partum life after giving birth to her twins in January.

In February, we saw the first glimpse of Ashley Graham's twins. She shared an intimate photo of breastfeeding one of her boys while holding the other. "My boys have been the greatest teachers and biggest reminders that I can do hard things," Ashley wrote in the caption. "This has not been easy, but it’s so worth it." Since then, Ashley has opened up on her Instagram about the post-partum life, and she just penned a thank you note to her belly.

Ashley posts a variety of photos on her Instagram that show what life is like with twin newborns. Some of her photos are more put together and polished than others, but she also shares the rawer moments in which she's pumping breastmilk and managing motherhood as working woman.

In her most recent Instagram post, she took a photo of herself without a shirt on, holding her breasts and only wearing a pair of black underwear. "Hi, new tummy," she wrote in the caption. "We’ve been through a lot. Thank you. #3monthspostpartum"

You can see the stretch marks on Ashley's belly, but she's unfazed by the changes in her body because those very changes were what allowed her to welcome her healthy twin boys into the world.

She's still making time for herself and her health. Just a couple of weeks ago she posted a short video of her doing assisted yoga.

"reminder to take a moment to breathe and that we could all use a little support sometimes 🥰 (feels so good being upside down after being pregnant for 2 years! thank you @krissy_jones for holding me up 💕)," she wrote in the caption.

All of her posts are a reminder that every mom experiences post-partum differently than the next. The important thing is that you're taking care of yourself and giving yourself some grace as your body heals from doing the most incredible thing on the planet.
