Hailey Bieber has become the poster child of minimalist makeup and a dewy complexion. So it's no wonder that millions of beauty enthusiasts flock to her social media and YouTube channel daily to get a glimpse into her beauty routine and implement her tips, tricks, and products into their own lives. But with the launch of her new skincare line, Rhode, replicating Hailey's radiance just got a whole lot easier. We will be taking a deeper look into the products that make up Rhode and how you can use them to get Hailey's signature glow.

Over Two Years in the Making

Speaking to Demi Lovato on her podcast 4D With Demi Lovato back in 2021, Hailey alluded to a new business venture saying, "I'm going to step into the beauty world, and I'm starting a company which has been really exciting. We've been working on it now since the very beginning of the pandemic, so we're almost two years into it. I feel like for the first time ever, I know this is where I'm supposed to be, and this is what I'm supposed to be doing."

However, this isn't the first time Hailey had attempted to launch a beauty brand – in April 2019, she originally filed to trademark “Bieber Beauty.” Unfortunately, her plans were foiled when her trademark was rejected because it has too many similarities to one that her husband, Justin Bieber, filed back in 2010. But it looks like Hailey found the solution to this issue by naming her brand after her middle name, “Rhode,” instead.

And the cutest thing about Rhode, aside from representing her middle name, is that the brand name also complements one of her husband Justin Bieber's business ventures, as back in 2017, the famous singer trademarked the name “The House Of Drew” – which is also based on his middle name – which has now turned into a highly successful streetwear label.

So, besides multiple setbacks and over two years of hard work, Rhode is finally here and ready to bless everyone with the dewy skin glow its creator is known for.

What Products Are in Rhode?

The line, which launched last Wednesday, is dedicated to delivering intentional skincare essentials that focus on nourishing the skin barrier and promoting a healthy complexion.

It currently consists of three products – a serum, a moisturizer, and a lip balm – intended to be a part of a simple, minimalistic skincare routine that focuses on overall skin health rather than the usual quick fixes we've gotten accustomed to expecting when seeing yet another celebrity skincare launch.

Speaking of which, Hailey Bieber has been open about this topic, and she's well aware that the celeb beauty brand move is an overdone one, but she promises her brand will stand out and exceed people's expectations.

In an interview for Allure, Hailey explained, “I definitely have had my fears, for sure, because the market is so busy and so saturated. And I’ve had to, obviously, have the confidence in myself and in our brand to really feel it’s going to be something refreshing and different.”

"I know what I want to give to people," she told the publication. "The whole ethos of my brand is access to really good quality products that are really affordable. I just don't see why a $200 cream has to be the answer to good skin."

Described as a gentle, effective skincare line, Hailey’s mission with her brand is to have products that will “give you an immediate nourishment and glow, but will also repair, protect, and nurture the skin you have now for lasting results that reveal themselves over time.”

“I live by a collection of edited essentials,” she continued. “One really good coat or one really good moisturizer that works perfectly for me and that I’ll always come back to.”

And since that’s a mantra we can get behind, let's see what the brand offers so far.

Peptide Glazing Fluid – $29

Hailey's skin is regularly compared to a glazed donut, so it makes sense that this “glazing fluid” is the number one product in her line. The Peptide Glazing Fluid is a milky, lightweight serum with peptides, hyaluronic acid, and marula oil to hydrate, soften, and plump the skin, plus niacinamide for antioxidant protection, anti-inflammatory benefits, and to help with dark spots.

One pump of the product can be used morning and night, after cleansing and before applying a moisturizer, to prep the skin for the rest of your skincare or makeup products.

Barrier Restore Cream – $29

Since a good coat of emollients is needed to seal moisture into your skin and help improve its barrier function, this cream is definitely one you should set your sights on if you're looking for a new moisturizer.

Thanks to a combination of nourishing shea butter and softening, plant-based squalene, as well as niacinamide to help calm inflammation, peptides to plump and strengthen skin, and antioxidant-rich açai to protect against environmental stressors, the Barrier Restore Cream is skin health in a beautiful, dove-gray tube.

Peptide Lip Treatment – $16

Rhodes’ lip treatment employs the plumping and hydrating benefits of peptides and shea butter to give you “naturally plump, pillowy soft lips." Part gloss, part lip treatment, this milky lip product can be applied and reapplied alone or worn over lipstick as needed.

Besides the thoughtful fragrance-free option, the Peptide Lip Treatment comes in two additional scents for lovers of both sweet and fruity flavors: salted caramel (a personal favorite of Hailey's) and tasty watermelon.

Where Can You Buy Rhode Skin?

While the entire Rhode line has already sold out (not surprisingly) you can get on the waitlist on the Rhode Skin website.

While international shipping is currently not available, Hailey confirmed via Instagram that she is, in fact, working on bringing Rhode to a worldwide stage. So if you are a skincare lover living outside of the U.S., make your way to the Rhode website and sign up for updates to be the first to know when the brand ships internationally. However, if you're really impatient to get your hands on these gorgeous products, you can always use a U.S. freight-forwarding service like Shipito or ReShip.
