These days you'd be hard pressed to find a social media feed or homepage of a major publication that doesn't feature Taylor Swift in some way or another. You're probably dying to read about literally anything else – or perhaps you're a huge fan and this is the moment you've been waiting for in pop-culture history for a decade – whatever the case may be, you're going to want to hear these conspiracy theories about the "Mastermind" singer, if only for a laugh.

Here are the most insane theories about the pop star, ranked from least to most believable.

Taylor Is a Clone of Satanist Zeena LaVey

Zeena LaVey, the daughter of the infamous Anton Lavey (founder of the Church of Satan), looks eerily similar to the "Anti-Hero" singer. Could it be possible that Taylor was cloned? Your answer should be no, but some people truly believe this happened. To me, it seems like they just have blonde hair, enjoy a good red lipstick, and have similar features. Not that crazy, right?

Taylor Doesn’t Have a Bellybutton

If you didn't chuckle reading this one, in the famous words of Taylor Swift, "you need to calm down." For the longest time, the queen of high-waist bikinis didn’t show off her belly button, leading some to speculate that she didn’t have one. I did the digging for you guys on this one and found photos of her in a two-piece bikini (not that hard to find, by the way), and unless she bribed the photographers to add one in their paparazzi shots, I can confirm that, yes, of course Taylor has a belly button

Taylor Is Secretly Planning To Support Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

There’s a rumor going around that Taylor might actually support RFK Jr. because she dated his son Connor Kennedy. Her dad is also apparently a Republican. This one is a little out there for me though, especially since the singer is pretty vocal about her left-leaning views.

Taylor Was Unfair to Olivia Rodrigo

In 2021, the writers of "Cruel Summer" (Taylor, Jack Antonoff, and St. Vincent) were added to the credits of Olivia's song, "Deja Vu." There were discussions that Tay had allegedly sued Olivia for copying her song, but that hasn't been confirmed. Then again, Taylor and her team did accuse poor Olivia of copyright infringement. Some fans think the two songs sound alike, but there are a lot of people who also disagree. It's tricky to know whether or not the former Disney star did copy Taylor, but maybe the "You Belong With Me" singer took it too far. After all, Olivia was a longtime fan.

In an interview from 2021, Olivia said that artists she used to admire treated her like mean girls. She asked Alanis Morissette in a Rolling Stone interview, "How did you handle it when your album came out? Did you have any hard times dealing with criticism or the spotlight?"

Alanis responded: "All eyes on the fishbowl. There was a lot of bullying and a lot of jealousy and a lot of people whom I’d adored my whole life being mean girls."

"Same!" Olivia replied.

A Redditor added their own theory to the alleged feud, stating how it was weird how Taylor took Sabrina Carpenter (Olivia and her had drama years ago) under her wing after the copyright infringement debacle. "Olivia hit it big at such a young age. Disney star, Swiftie and broke out during the Pandemic era and her first album was a hit. Taylor seemingly gave Olivia her blessing, Olivia and Conan spotlighted Fearless TV, but Taylor wouldn't do the same for their albums,? Weird since Taylor claimed them as her kids. and then the copyright thing happened," they write. "Olivia stopped talking about Taylor and vice versa."

Many fans even think Olivia Rodrigo's recent hit 'The Grudge' is about Taylor Swift. However, last year Olivia denied the feud, saying she didn't have "beef with anyone."

“Come Back…Be Here” Is About Zac Efron

Fans think that Tay may have been smitten with Zac Efron years ago. One fan wrote about how they think “Come Back… Be Here” is about the former Disney Star, explaining, "The reason why I, myself.. Believe this theory is true, is because, when Red came out, this song was rarely talked about, maybe once or twice by Taylor, yet, never played, and during the Red tour, again it was never played. Which I found very odd. Not to mention, Zac constantly gushed about Taylor, and kept staring at her, and on Ellen was fiddling with her, about to place his hand on her thigh, when Taylor says something while touching her with his foot, and Taylor has a smile on her face, and than moves her eyes to watch him place his arm behind her head which she liked."

And someone responded that "Wildest Dreams" may have been about the High School Musical actor, because Scott Eastwood's costume in the music video was supposedly the same as Zac's fit at The Lorax premiere. Hmmm.

Taylor Attending the Jets Game Was to Muddy up the Search Engine

Hear me out: What if all the news about Taylor and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Jets was a ploy to muddy the search engine? Before she dated the NFL star and attended a Jets vs. Chiefs game, if you'd search "Taylor Swift jets" on Google, you'd find plenty of articles on the singer's carbon footprint. Taylor's average flight time is 80 minutes, and she's a known polluter. She recently came under fire for allegedly taking a 13-minute flight, though it remains unconfirmed.

So, maybe her PR team really did plan her attendance. Or maybe not, because you can still find hundreds of articles on Taylor's carbon footprint despite her recent involvement with the NFL.

Taylor Is a Government Psyop That Will Lead the Chiefs and Biden to Victory

The Vigilant Citizen brought up a great point about the blonde bombshell – that "the more Taylor gets media attention, the more people pay attention to the media." They're absolutely right. Everyone and their grandmothers are talking about Taylor. Every day, it's Taylor, Taylor, Taylor, and listen, she's a great artist, but it really does seem like the world currently revolves around her.

Anyway, people speculate that Taylor and Travis' relationship is all PR. Former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy tweeted, “I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month,” adding, “I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall. Just some wild speculation over here, let’s see how it ages over the next 8 months.”

Laura Loomer said, “The Democrats’ Taylor Swift election interference psyop is happening in the open… They are going to use Taylor Swift as the poster child for their pro-abortion GOTV Campaign.”

GOP Candidate Jack Lombardi II also wrote how he has “never been more convinced that the Super Bowl is rigged. With all the unneeded and unwanted Taylor coverage at the games. KC’s journey to the Superbowl – totally scripted … KC wins. And then later [they announce] their support for Biden. Coincidental?  No. Bought and paid for couple.  SMH.”

I personally don’t trust the government. We know how politicians and big pharma companies love endorsing and paying celebrities off – so who knows?

Then, of course, there’s the idea that Taylor is rigging the game. According to WSJ, “Mike Crispi said the NFL was 'rigged' so that the Chiefs would go to the Super Bowl, therefore paving the way for Swift to emerge during the halftime show and endorse Biden for re-election.”

Others believe that if the Chiefs win, Travis Kelce will propose on the fifty yard line. Whether that means the game would be rigged or not, I'm not sure. It would be a cute moment for them if they are genuinely in love, though. There's only one way to tell if any of these NFL conspiracies are true, so I guess we’ll just have to wait until Sunday and see what happens.

Taylor Was Active on 4Chan

Oddly enough, this would not surprise me. Tay's beloved felines, Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, are probably some of the most famous cats in the world. When Taylor announced that she was naming one of her pets Meredith, internet users were quick to spot a 4Chan member who was also fond of the name.

Sleuths discovered the anonymous user asking people to name his new kitten. Someone suggested the name "Meredith," and one day later, kitty Meredith Grey was introduced to the world. There are other posts that seem to suggest Taylor might have been on the popular (and controversial) forum, but we have one more theory to go over.

Taylor Had a Thing With Karlie Kloss

Is Taylor bisexual? We’ll likely never know. What I do know is that, at one point, she was very close to Glee star Dianna Agron, and many believed that they were an item. Then, Taylor started hanging out more with Karlie – and Dianna posted a cartoon version of herself ripping her heart out. Someone clearly broke her heart.

Karlie and Taylor were so inseparable that they were dubbed “Kaylor.” They took road trips and attended games. Karlie even had her own room at Taylor’s house. There are photographs of the two holding hands and Karlie kissing Taylor on the cheek, as well as pictures of their names written in the sand (complete with hearts, of course)! But these pictures paled compared to this blurry footage that seemed to capture them kissing during a concert in 2014.

This topic is definitely a rabbit hole, so I suggest you read more about it here.

I love my besties... but I don't make out with them. That said, I rank this "conspiracy theory" as the most believable.
