If you change your hair with the seasons, you probably went blonder for the summer, and tend to go darker or warmer with your color in the fall. There are so many colors and styles you can choose from for your fall hair transition. Maybe these inspo pictures can help you decide what color you want to try next!

1. Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

This strawberry-blonde coppery hair color is so popular in the fall season. It gives off natural redhead vibes, and is perfect for this time of year. Those with pale to medium skin tones will look best with this color. And if you have green, hazel, or blue eyes, this hair color will really make your eyes pop.

2. Dark Auburn

This shade of red is so rich and beautiful, and is a fall staple! It's great for those who want to branch away from a natural shade of red but want something classic. Medium skin goes well with this deeper shade of red.

3. Rich Brown and Black

Not everyone wants to go red in the fall, so these different shades of brown and black are a good option for anyone who wants a natural color. These colors can go with many skin tones, but the warmer skin tones look really nice with black hair. You can still add dimension to these colors with warm highlights or multiple tones of brown.

4. Brondies and Blondies

If you’re someone who likes to be really blonde in the summer, it’s not always the best option to go completely dark or red, because it will be very hard to transition back to blonde next year. Give these options a try if you want something darker, but want to maintain your blonde reputation. You can add lowlights with your blonde hair, warm up the blonde with a honey toner, or go dimensional brunette.

5. Purples and Reds

For the bold and brave, these fun red and purple tones are popular in October. You can go bright or dark with these colors. Keep in mind that the dark shades will last longer than the bright ones, which tend to fade faster.

Closing Thoughts

Transitioning your hair to fall colors can make the season all the more exciting. It can really bring together your look with a new fall wardrobe. It doesn’t have to be drastically different from your summer hair, just a different version of it that’s warmer and richer. Try out some of these fall hair color trends to spice up your look this season!
