We all love a clean space, but cleaning can be time-consuming and just plain gross. Luckily for us, several users have taken to TikTok to share their cleaning hacks that make cleaning both faster and easier (and... dare we say, kind of fun). Here are some of our favorites.

1. Overnight Oven Cleanse

We all know that we’re supposed to clean our ovens, but the thought of scrubbing it all is daunting. This hack helps you clean your oven overnight by making a paste of ½ cup of baking soda, one tablespoon of dish soap, and one tablespoon of water, and applying the paste to the inside of your oven before you go to sleep. Simply scrub and wipe off the paste in the morning for a perfectly clean oven.

2. Red Wine Stain Hack

Red wine stains are the worst because they’re so hard to remove, but this hack makes it simple. Apply Pro's Choice Red 1 Stain Remover on the stain and put a towel over it. Use an iron to steam the stain out, but make sure to be careful to avoid burning the surface.

3. Burnt Pot Hack

The next time one of your pots looks too burnt to repair, try this viral hack. Start by filling the pot with baking soda, white vinegar, and dish soap, and allow it to boil on the stove for five minutes. After you let it cool, scrub it down with a sponge.

4. Quick Carpet Fix

This is the perfect way to deep clean your carpet and make it fluffy again. Take a mini squeegee and simply pull backward threads of the carpet. You’ll be surprised at how much dirt and dust comes up (you might want to vacuum again after this!).

5. Clean Your Washer

Do your clothes not smell as fresh as they used to? It might be time to clean your washing machine. Simply put two dishwashing tablets into your washing machine and run it like a normal load.

6. DIY Fabric Deodorizer

Whether it’s your couch or a dress that’s been in a closet for a little too long, it’s always good to have a fabric deodorizer on hand. Make your own with ½ a cup of water, ¼ a cup of rubbing alcohol, and your favorite fabric softener. Mix the ingredients and put the concoction into a spray bottle. The alcohol helps the solution to evaporate quickly (and sanitize), so the deodorizer doesn’t damage your fabrics.

7. Quick Shower Cleaner

Cleaning the shower sounds like a daunting task, but this hack allows you to multitask. Fill a handheld dish wand with dish soap and vinegar to clean while you’re in the shower.

8. DIY Disinfecting Wipes

Want to disinfect without all of the nasty chemicals? Take a sealable glass jar and fill it with two cups of water, one cup of vinegar, ½ cup of rubbing alcohol, and a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil. Allow hand towels to soak in the mixture, and then use them for cleaning.

9. Dust with a Dryer Sheet

Dusting is often a lot of work, but it doesn’t have to be. If you have a minute or two to spare in your day, dust your bathroom with a dryer sheet. This also prevents too much dust from developing, helping you avoid nasty dust bunnies.

10. Tile Grout Cleaner

We all know that tile grout is nasty and notoriously difficult to clean, but this product will help you solve this problem. Pour some Zep Grout Cleaner & Brightener in between your tiles, scrub with a toothbrush (not the one you’re using, obvi), and let the magic happen.

11. Clean Your Dishwasher

Similar to your washing machine, it’s important to clean the inside of your dishwasher. Remove the bottom rack along with all of the removable parts and wash them in the sink with a sponge and dish soap. When you’re done with that, scrub noticeably dirty spots inside before running it like a normal load with vinegar and baking soda.

12. Microwave Hack

Scrubbing the inside of your microwave is a nightmare, but this hack will help you avoid it. Mix one cup of water with a teaspoon of dishwashing detergent, microwave for four minutes, let it sit for a few minutes, and use the liquid to wipe down the inside of your microwave.

13. The Pink Stuff Miracle Cleaner

Another favorite cleaning product is The Pink Stuff Miracle Cleaner. It comes as a paste, spray, or cream, and it’s perfect for cleaning the most stubborn grime and stains in your home.

14. Stainless Steel Hack

Stainless steel fridges are pretty, but you have to be careful with cleaning them. This hack takes all the stress out of the equation. Simply put white vinegar on a towel and wipe your fridge down. It’s that simple, and works every time!

15. DIY Clogged Sink Hack

We can all agree that clogged sinks are nasty, but this simple hack can save you a call (and bill) from a plumber. Unclog your drain with baking soda and vinegar, allowing the chemical reaction to break down the grime. Rinse with water.
