Zoë Kravitz Responds To The Rumors Of Her Dating Channing Tatum With Two Simple Words
Are they or aren't they? Since Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum were photographed holding hands by the paparazzi in the fall of 2021, everyone has been wondering if they're really a couple or if they were just engaging in some temporary flirtation.

Zoë Kravitz has mostly remained silent on the speculation of her and Channing Tatum as a couple. But in her recent interview with Elle, for which she was the March 2022 cover star, she finally chimed in, even if it was a somewhat cryptic answer.
Zoë Kravitz Only Has Two Words To Share about Her Rumored Relationship
The two have brushed shoulders before; they co-starred in The Lego Batman Movie in 2017, and Zoë played Catwoman and Channing voiced Superman. Next up you can catch Channing star in Pussy Island, a film that Zoë directed. In the midst of their professional relationship, rumors were flying about whether they were a couple.
They've been spotted holding hands in New York City and smiling, appearing entirely comfortable with each other as if they were a seasoned couple. Then there's that infamous photo of Channing riding a bicycle while Zoë rides in the back with her arms around his neck. One of the most popular paparazzi pictures shows Zoë wearing a blue slip dress with chunky kitten heels, clutching an iced coffee while she is positively laughing her head off at something Channing said.
Fans have been wondering for the better part of a year now: are they dating? Zoë decided to address this question—well, kind of.
In her interview with Elle, Zoë talked about her upcoming work, including the fact that Channing is slated to play the lead character, a mysterious billionaire who owns an island. She said she hadn't met him in person before she casted him, but she was confident that he could fulfill the role. “Looking at his work and hearing him speak about Magic Mike and the live show, I’m like, I think he’s a feminist," she said. "You need to be so far from who this is, where it’s not scary. And I don’t think we’ve ever seen him play someone dark. I’m excited to see him do that.”
Naturally, she was then asked if there was anything going on between them.
"I'm happy," Zoë put it simply. And that was how she left it.
But she did have a few other things to say, mostly that she has positive feelings about love. “I feel optimistic about life, and I think that comes hand in hand with it,” she said. “All my relationships in life—my friendships, my romantic relationships, my family—the journey is learning how to show up honestly."
We're not mind-readers but it sure does sound like Zoë is enjoying her not-so-secret romance with Channing.
