On November 19, 2026, fans will finally get the opportunity to play the newest iteration, GTA VI, which has been teased for more than a decade. The long-awaited release of GTA VI could be one of the biggest of all time. DFC Intelligence analysts have projected roughly $1 billion from pre-orders alone and $3.2 billion in the game's first year on the market. Take-Two, Rockstar's parent company, is forecasting up to $8.2 billion in net bookings for the fiscal year, growth it attributes largely to this one release. However, the long-awaited game is already creating major controversies, but not for the reasons you might think.
