The gameplay is incredibly realistic: Characters can gain or lose weight, look more or less tired, and change their clothes, hair, or accessories. This realism is also evident in Jason and Lucia's relationship, as the two can choose to do missions together or separately, and be more or less romantically involved. Of course, there are circumstances when guys can spend too much time gaming, to the point where it can divert them from their real life responsibilities. But often, that's not the case, as only about 1.6% of people have what would be considered a medically diagnosed "gaming addiction." The female criticisms about the relationship between Lucia and Jason are unwarranted anger against men having a personal interest and outlet. Worse, guys who have waited 13 years to play the next installment of a franchise they love shouldn't be shamed. Men don't often get emotional, so seeing them light up over the release of a new game is a rarity. ImHeiden's girlfriend was right to turn it into a special occasion.
