The police detained 15 to 20 individuals, a significant number of whom were juveniles, in connection with the looting and recovered two firearms. Acting Police Commissioner John Stanford conveyed during a news conference that the first indications of break-ins were reported soon after 8 p.m., shortly after the peaceful dispersion of protesters.
