Lilly Tino, born Nicholas Contino, says he is "trans," refers to himself as a “lesbian,” and regularly posts TikToks critiquing restaurants, servers, and public spaces. He is currently facing backlash and a lawsuit threat, as well as a petition that’s gained nearly half a million signatures calling for his removal from TikTok and a ban from Disney World.

Below is a breakdown of the key allegations (some of which are really disturbing) and why Lilly Tino is now facing widespread criticism from across the political spectrum.

The Disney Bathroom Controversy

In June 2025, Tino posted a series of bathroom selfies taken inside the women’s restroom at Disney World. The photos, which were meant to rate the restrooms as part of a TikTok series, featured visible reflections of women and young girls, none of whom gave permission to be filmed or photographed. Tino did not blur out their faces or crop them out of frame.

According to Inside the Magic, at least two women have come forward with plans to pursue legal action against Tino's voyeurism. One is the mother of a girl visible in the background, and both women are reportedly considering civil lawsuits for invasion of privacy and emotional distress. There’s also speculation that Florida’s privacy laws may come into play, depending on how authorities handle the case.

JK Rowling, weighed in with a sharp post on X, writing, “This man’s bathroom photos are trophies. He wants women and girls in the background because it proves he’s violating women’s boundaries. Without actual females there as props all he’s got is a selfie of a scary-looking creep in mouse ears, which isn’t remotely what he’s after.”

Petition Calls for Ban from Disney and TikTok

Not long after the Disney restroom incident, two separate petitions began circulating on Change.org. One demands that Tino be permanently banned from Walt Disney World. The other calls on TikTok to remove his account entirely.

Both cite the same concern: that his presence in women’s spaces is allegedly inappropriate and potentially unsafe. One of the petitions, started by a self-identified “concerned parent,” reads:

“Concerns have been raised about her behavior, especially considering she has been accused of acting inappropriately in front of minors and being a possible threat… By allowing Lily Tino to continue utilizing TikTok, we risk normalizing potentially harmful behaviors and putting our children at risk.”

Together, the petitions have racked up more than 473,000 signatures and counting.

The Kurt Cobain Claims

Long before the Disney fiasco, Tino stirred outrage over a bizarre theory that rock icon Kurt Cobain was “probably trans.” In a now-infamous video, Tino argued that Cobain’s femininity, wardrobe choices, and a few song lyrics were “clear-cut gender dysphoria.”

Naturally, the internet had questions. LGBTQ advocates called it opportunistic. Nirvana fans called it disrespectful. Others pointed out the irony: Tino gets upset when others speculate about his gender, yet he felt entitled to label a deceased musician who never identified as anything but male.

Allegedly Inappropriate Patreon Content

Critics have also taken aim at Tino’s “spicy content” hosted on Patreon. According to Reddit users, the content has veered into violent sexual territory, raising serious ethical concerns. One viewer described a disturbing video involving a woman being held down and hit with a hairbrush.

One user summarized it bluntly, “LILLY IS A SEX ADDICT! ANY sex is good sex for her. She’s not just a lesbian or a trans woman… she’s a sex/kink addict.”

Comments About Children and Consent

One of the most widely circulated responses came from @thapeaklady, who said she believes that Tino is implying that “3 year olds are able to consent.”

The X user is referencing a TikTok video where Tino had previously claimed he had to leave a bathroom because the presence of a 3-year-old girl would result in him being accused of something, calling the child a “threat” to his safety.

In another post, the same user revealed screenshots of an old Reddit account speculated to be Tino's from 2011. "If the red flags on this guy were not MASSIVE enough. A comment from Mr. tino’s (alleged) old Reddit account where he fantasizes about child SA has surfaced,” she explained. “The account can be verified as him using the way back machine as he posts a selfie but I may need help to source this comment. If true, it establishes, he has a habit of specifically using three-year-old girls in his fantasies."

Tino later went on Discord, the screenshots show, and claimed that he was around the same age as the little girl, and it was taken out of context.

Tino also fueled anger when he filmed a mother with her baby.

Disowning His Past?

One final detail fueling the backlash: documents show Tino legally changed his name and gender in 2022. On Geni.com, the page for Nicholas Contino lists the individual as “deceased” in the same year those changes were filed. Some interpret this as Tino viewing his life as a woman beginning at that point, which might explain his references to his “third birthday.”

Others find it unsettling. One viral post read,“Ever wonder why he dresses like a toddler when he goes to Disney Parks?”

Tino has yet to respond to the latest round of backlash. He hasn’t addressed the lawsuits, the Rowling tweet, or the Change.org petitions. His TikTok account remains live for now, but pressure is mounting.

As of this writing, the petition to remove him from TikTok has reached 473,767 signatures, and the petition to ban him from Disney World is nearing 500,000.

Whether any platforms or companies will take action remains to be seen.
