The researchers created 4 types of faces based on different personality traits and tested whether or not people chose faces that matched the personality traits they wanted most. In most cases, the participants did. The study also stated that "possessing personality traits that are attractive may be causal in making a face attractive," so there could be a real correlation between a person's personality and their facial features.
