A student named Grant at the University of Alabama shared a video on TikTok in which he wore a dress and prepared for day five of rush week. He shared the details of his outfit and asked his followers to wish him luck. He later posted a letter saying that he wasn't accepted into any of the sororities.

Grant is someone who regularly posts photos of himself in women's makeup and clothing. His TikTok went viral and sparked a conversation about men invading women's spaces. Popular account Libs of TikTok shared the clip on Twitter and most people who responded expressed disgust with the display.

Someone replied and called this the "end of civilization." Others questioned whether this student was living with girls in the dorm rooms. Regardless of people's reactions, he posted a note on his Instagram recently explaining that he was dropped from the sororities.

"First and foremost, I would like to thank my family, friends, and everyone who has come along this journey with me," he wrote. "Unfortunately, this chapter is closed. This recruitment journey is over for me. Being dropped from my last house this morning during primary recruitment at the University of Alabama doesn't come as a surprise considering out of the almost 20 chapters - I was dropped by every single one except 2 before day 1."

"I'm hopeful of a future where everyone is welcomed for just being themselves—everywhere," he continued. "In my initial application papers, I paid tribute to my Grandma who passed away this year with Alzheimer's. I know that she is so proud. Nana, this is just the beginning."

The comments are overwhelmingly in his favor, encouraging him to stay strong and keep going.

"Sweetest Grant !! I know you must be hurting today and im sending you light and love. You’re meant for bigger & better things and I know your impact made many people wake up this week feeling a little more comfort in being themselves," one user commented.

"Thank you for sharing your journey. Sisterhood is for everyone. Sending love your way," someone else wrote.

Grant continues to post content on his social media in which he wears women's clothes, jewelry, and makeup.
