On March 27, 2023, a biological woman named Audrey Hale took the lives of three children and three faculty members at The Covenant School. According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the suspect carried two assault-style rifles and a handgun. The killer was believed to have attended the school in the past.

Hale, who has been identified as transgender, is believed to be a graphic designer by some Twitter users. A LinkedIn account belonging to a person with the same name is speculated to be the shooter by audience members. Several news sites have used the image on the LinkedIn page in their reports. The screenshot displays the name "Audrey Hale," followed by the preferred pronouns of "he/him." Interestingly, the pronouns have allegedly been removed for unknown reasons.

The profile states the individual attended Nossi College of Art and listed their profession as a commercial illustrator and graphic designer. The Instagram account on the "About" section (@creative.aiden) has allegedly also been removed. "

"Why were Audrey Hale's he/him pronouns deleted off of LinkedIn???" asks @amalaekpunobi.

@DC_Draino is among the many users who theorize that the LinkedIn profile may be the shooter. "*Unconfirmed* reports identify the Nashville shooter as 'Audrey Hale,' a biological female that identifies as 'He/Him' on their LinkedIn," he writes. "Authorities believe the transgender shooter previously attended the Christian school. Instagram account 'creative.aiden' has been deleted."

He adds, "A sample of art from Audrey Hale’s website," and shares a picture of a typographic art piece of Jack from The Shining. Some texts on the piece read, "He went insane," "murder," "face of horror," and "gone insane."

"Audrey Hale," @FlBirder tweeted, "Here is [a] graphic design she created from her portfolio on LinkedIn. Nothing creepy here."

An alleged design for a toy company was apparently made by the graphic designer, and they utilized the color scheme chosen to seemingly match the light blue, pink, and white colors on the transgender flag. The image below is an alleged picture of Hale with the design.

Another Twitter account, @dragonfly, shared pictures of more art on the platform. "Another portfolio is entitled 'Mad World' from 2022 and takes on a decidedly darker tone. The pieces below are from 'Mad World,'" the user tweeted.

On Monday morning, Audrey Elizabeth Hale drove to The Covenant School, a private Christian elementary school. She drove to the location in her Honda Fit, parked, then shot her way inside the building, @MNPDNashville reports.

Her manifesto apparently reveals details about the "targeted" killing spree. "We have a manifesto," Police Chief John Drake informed reporters. "We have some writings that we're going over that pertain to this date, the actual incident. We have a map drawn out of how all this was gonna take place."

Officials have identified the victims of the tragedy. @MNPDNashville writes, "The 6 victims fatally shot by the active shooter at Covenant School are identified as: Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all age 9, Cynthia Peak, age 61, Katherine Koonce, age 60, and Mike Hill, age 61."
