We didn’t make this list. Harper’s Bazaar did in their published piece "The 50 Hottest Men of All Time." And to be clear, we don’t agree with all of it. Some picks feel spot-on; others, we’re still debating. Either way, we figured you’d want to see which men made the cut. From movie legends and rock stars to pop culture staples of today, here are their rankings, counting down from 25 to 1.

He was already a franchise heartthrob in Divergent, but it took The White Lotus to turn him into a fan-fave.

24. Matthew McConaughey

There was a time when he seemed to jog shirtless across every beach in America. From charming rom-coms to Oscar-winning dramas, he’s always brought an undeniable swagger. Now he's a great example of masculinity.

23. Rick Yune

Harvard grad, martial artist, villain with diamonds in his face, Rick Yune never needed to be flashy to be magnetic. His quiet, controlled intensity stole scenes and attention alike.

22. Bill Skarsgård

He played one of the most terrifying horror villains in modern film, yet still managed to inspire fan thirst. Somehow, crawling through sewers and shapeshifting into nightmares only added to the appeal.

21. Jesse Williams

Those eyes. His role as Dr. Jackson Avery on Grey’s Anatomy introduced him to the masses, but it was the quiet vulnerability beneath the surface that kept people watching.

20. Robert Redford

The golden boy of ‘70s cinema with the kind of hair most men dream of and a face that never needed a filter. Whether in uniform or playing a journalist, he gave romantic lead energy without ever trying.

19. Keanu Reeves

Soft-spoken, strangely ageless, and capable of making a trench coat iconic. The fact that he gave most of his Matrix earnings to cancer research only made the internet love him more.

18. Damson Idris

He can play a drug lord, a racecar driver, or a charming guest on a talk show, Damson Idris pulls it off with ease. Equal parts composed and unpredictable, he’s the kind of hot that sneaks up on you.

17. Elvis Presley

He shocked mid-century America with his hip swings and swagger. Add in the voice, the hair, and the gleam in his eye, and it’s easy to see why people were fainting at his concerts.

16. Jacob Elordi

Tall, brooding, always a little menacing, Elordi has practically monopolized the hot-guy role for an entire generation. Saltburn only cemented it. He’s beautiful, and he knows it.

15. Paul Newman

A screen legend with blue eyes so bright they looked digitally enhanced before that was even possible. His charm translated on and off screen, making him one of Hollywood’s most enduring crushes.

14. Harrison Ford

Cocky, chaotic, and usually covered in sweat or dust, Ford defined the rugged leading man. Han Solo didn’t care what anyone thought, and that’s exactly what made him irresistible.

13. Robert Pattinson

Whether sparkling in Twilight or brooding as The Batman, Pattinson somehow made being pale, disheveled, and emotionally unavailable sexy. Don't let his characters fool you, though! He's very much a present father and has been a good man to Suki Waterhouse, which makes him all the more attractive.

12. Jason Momoa

He wore a man-bun and made it work. Whether throwing axes or emerging from the ocean, Momoa is all power and mischief, with a grin that breaks tension in any room.

11. Hayden Christensen

As Anakin Skywalker, he brought soft features and simmering rage to the most unexpected place: Star Wars. Despite the memes, there’s no denying the way his eyes carried every scene.

10. Dev Patel

He went from earnest teen hero to elegant leading man with a quiet sort of confidence. Fans called him the sexiest man alive before any magazine did.

9. Aaron Taylor-Johnson

A child actor turned action star turned (controversial) object of obsession. Whether in period dramas or comic book films, Aaron always brings a touch of yearning that lingers.

8. Bad Bunny

He broke rules and gender norms, and according to the magazine, that’s hot (it’s not).

7. Paul Mescal

He made vulnerability attractive again. The Irish actor’s emotional performances (and short shorts) launched a million thirst posts.

6. Marlon Brando

Tightly stretched T-shirts and uncontrollable magnetism. Brando’s physicality was raw and unruly, even when he was playing monsters or outlaws. He didn’t act attractive—he just was.

5. Charles Melton

The slow-motion struts in Riverdale were just the beginning. In May December, he brought something heavier, darker, and far more compelling. A classic heartthrob with unexpected layers.

4. Pedro Pascal

Is it just me, or are they forcing Pedro Pascal on us? Either way, he’s talented and handsome. Everything else is up for debate.

3. Lenny Kravitz

Shirt optional, guitar in hand, he made being cool look like second nature.

2. Tupac Shakur

Few men have embodied contradictions as powerfully as Tupac. A rapper who read Baldwin, a revolutionary with charisma to spare.

1. James Dean

Still the standard. The red jacket, the cigarette, the brooding stare. Dean will go down in history as one of the Hollywood greats.
