Take A Peek Inside Taylor Hill's Cozy Nashville Cabin

Supermodel Taylor Hill was on the brink of purchasing her first Manhattan apartment when a visit to Nashville altered her plans entirely. Enthralled by the city's charm, she embarked on a search for a new home, eventually discovering a rustic 1936 log cabin.

Describing the moment she first laid eyes on the cabin, Hill, 28, recalls being "stopped in her tracks." Situated on a sprawling 1.29-acre lot, the house offers a quiet sanctuary away from the city's hustle, complete with outdoor living space and a shaded pool.

Inside, the 3,622 square-foot cabin exudes a warm mountain ambiance reminiscent of Hill's Colorado roots. "That’s a reason I felt so connected to this house," she told Architectural Digest in 2021, "When I walked in here, I thought, 'This is like home.'"

The interior reflects Hill's eclectic style, blending new purchases with secondhand treasures and family heirlooms. From fuzzy shearling-covered chairs to a brown leather Chesterfield sofa, her decor choices reflect a mix of affordability and sophistication. Despite her supermodel status, Hill emphasizes that stylish living doesn't require extravagant spending, noting, "You don’t have to spend a million dollars to make things look cool, so I tried not to."

Drawing inspiration from her mother's DIY ethos, Hill didn't hire an interior designer, preferring to trust her instincts. Her home is a testament to this approach, with each room reflecting her personal touch and familial influence.

In an Instagram post, she thanked her amazing mom, Jen Hill, for helping her create "one of my favorite places on planet earth," as well as designer Alexandra Martin, a family friend.

"I love running around barefoot chasing Tate, listening to music, and having big family dinners in the backyard," Hill added. "This house is very special to me, I love it deeply, and it’s a dream come true to share it with you."

In the dining room, Hill's design journey culminated in the discovery of a round table to accommodate her large family gatherings. Mismatched chairs, painted a vibrant midnight blue by her mother, add to the room's charm, while her late grandmother's Blue Willow china graces the corner cabinets.

Hill's iconic closet also deserves a mention. It serves as a light-filled, pink oasis of femininity.

"This room is girly: It reminds me to not wear black every day," Hill explained to AD, gesturing to the space adorned with pink chairs and layered rugs. "I come in here, and I’m like, let’s have fun."

Hill envisioned her closet to emulate a store, with everything on display, leading to her decision to forgo doors and drawers. Sundresses and designer pieces hang near exposed shelves showcasing vintage cowboy boots and luxury bags.

Hill enjoys her rustic retreat with her venture capitalist husband, Daniel Fryer.
