A study was recently shared on CBS Mornings that claimed climate change is the culprit for the rising numbers of childhood obesity. Apparently, the increasing temperatures are causing kids to stay inside and gain excess weight.

A viral tweet circulated on Saturday that showed a clip from "CBS Mornings," in which the anchors were discussing a new study about obesity rates in children in the US. Kids today are 30% less aerobically fit compared to their parents when they were the same age. The study claims this is largely due to climate change.
