Starbucks is Making Fall Come Early With The New Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew

It may not be fall yet but our favorite Starbucks drink is here early! Only this time, Starbucks is launching a new drink in addition to our favorite PSL since, you know, it's still August and we don't really need (or want) hot lattes yet.

Since 2018's Starbucks sales were 50% from cold beverages, Starbucks gave us our newest obsession in cold brew form! The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. “With customer excitement for PSL sweeping the nation each fall, we wanted to create a new beverage that combines two of our customers’ favorite things, pumpkin spices and cold brew,” said Matthew Thornton in Starbucks' press release.

Starbucks Declares August 27 "Fall"

What's even cooler is that the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is the first new pumpkin beverage at Starbucks in 16 years!! It's also the first cold Starbucks pumpkin beverage (and yes, I know, you can "technically" get your pumpkin spice latte cold but this is the first official one okay??).

The Deliciousness

The pumpkin cream cold brew is made with Starbucks cold brew, vanilla, and a float of pumpkin cream cold foam topped with their signature pumpkin spices (cinnamon and nutmeg). "With each sip of Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, you’ll enjoy the familiar, creamy, flavor of pumpkin spice followed by a refreshing taste of cold brew, for a cool beverage that will have you wishing it was fall all year long,” Thorton adds in the press release.

Cheaper and Healthier!

The new Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is also cheaper than the PSL! Which means, your bank account will thank you for saving money this fall. It's also healthier. A 16 oz Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew has 250 calories and 31 grams of sugar, while a 16 oz Pumpkin Spice Latte has 380 calories and 50 grams of sugar. Two good reasons why I need to try this ASAP. Happy fall!
