Rihanna Confirms Fenty Skincare Is Launching Soon

Yes, Fenty Skincare is almost here! There have been rumors for approximately a year, but now this whole thing is starting to come to fruition. In March 2019, the Barbados-born singer-turned-mogul registered a trademark for Fenty Skin, and we've pretty much been holding our breath ever since.

After all, the 2017 launch of Rihanna’s beauty line, Fenty, has been incredibly successful to say the very least. With rave reviews for her foundations, which are available in 50 shades (seriously, it covers every single shade of the skin color rainbow), and lots of other hero products, like highlighter, we knew all knew skincare wasn’t too far away.

In an interview for the May 2020 issue of British Vogue, the singer finally confirmed what we have believed all along — that Fenty Skin is on the way! She has striven to “achieve the same level of perfection” in her skincare, saying, “Skin care, it's the truth. It either works, or it doesn't. There's nowhere to hide.”

In the same interview, RiRi also revealed that Fenty isn’t just a brand she slaps her name on, but rather, it’s important to her to have total control of her company, saying, “Oh yeah! I write all of the copy for the websites, the product descriptions, product names, the color names…I do have a huge team, but I just don’t necessarily think their tone is mine. I’d feel like a fraud selling something that I can’t stand by.”

So now we know officially that Rihanna is a woman who can do it all.

As for what’s going to be in the line — let’s take a look at what her trademark covers for some clues: “medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products (excluding color cosmetics, perfume and other fragrance-only products), and related accessories such as kits, tools and applicators.”

It’s safe to say cleansers, moisturizers and, hopefully, a good exfoliator are on their way. And technically, some of the line is already available through Fenty Beauty. So if you can’t wait for the full line to drop, you should definitely treat yourself to some or all of these right now.

Pro Kiss’r Lip-Loving Scrubstick

Are your lips chapped or flaky from staying indoors? Does your lipstick or gloss look uneven when you put it on? Then you need this lip exfoliator yesterday. Packaged and applied like a traditional lipstick, it’s easy to use.

Pro Kiss’r Lucious Lip Balm

After scrubbing your lips, you’ve got to apply lip balm. Formulated to nourish your lips, it’s made with shea and mango seed butters with a peachy-vanilla scent. It also has a sheen to make your lips look extra luscious.

Invisimatte Blotting Paper

With a handy little refillable roll, this blotting paper is stealth, packaged in what looks like a tube of lipstick. And unlike those little books of blotting paper, Fenty’s are easy to remove to give you that super matte look whenever you need it.

What It Dew Makeup Refreshing Spray

What is the purpose of putting on makeup if you aren’t going to set it properly? Whether you’re going to be out all day or spending the night dancing to your favorite RiRi tune at a club, this setting spray ensures everything stays where it should.
