Infertility is an epidemic that needs to be addressed. Some data suggests that anywhere between 48 million couples and 186 million individuals globally are infertile. Of course, there could be many reasons for this – including hormone imbalances. Unfortunately, 80% of women suffer some form of hormonal irregularities. One of the many women who have publicly shared their struggles with their cycle is TikToker Rachel Sullivan.

One of Rachel's biggest fears was never knowing whether or not she could conceive a child with her husband, Tom. Years after their marriage, Rachel was diagnosed with a hormonal imbalance that left her unable to ovulate every month. Tom dedicated himself to cooking meals for Rachel that were centered around balancing her hormones. After 10 years of hormonal imbalances, Rachel finally got pregnant, and the couple now has a beautiful daughter together!

Tom Helped Rachel by Syncing Food with the Different Phases of Her Cycle

"When the only doctor recommendation we were given was to go on birth control, we turned to food as medicine," Rachel says in her video. "He has a chart on our fridge that he uses to grocery shop with, and it has a list of all the different ingredients that sync with the different phases of my menstrual cycle."

After Rachel got pregnant, her husband decided to celebrate each weekly milestone by making dishes that were the same sizes as her baby. In the video below, you can see Tom tenderly holding his newborn daughter.

Today, Tom picks out cute matching outfits for both him and his daughter every day. Thanks to Tom’s dedication and his love for his wife, Rachel was able to give birth to a beautiful baby girl. The beautiful couple continues to inspire women to regulate their hormones by posting videos of their cycle-based wellness journey on TikTok.
