Years after Patrick Dempsey took on his dreamy doctor role in Grey's Anatomy , the 57 year old is finally getting recognized as 2023's "Sexiest Man Alive." “I’m glad it’s happening at this point in my life,” he told the magazine. “It’s nice to have the recognition, and certainly my ego takes a little bump, but it gives me the platform to use it for something positive.” The actor opened up about Dempsey Center, which he founded in honor of his mother and to support cancer patients and their families.
