Olivia Rodrigo rose to fame in the flash of an eye with her debut album Sour, which was released in May 2021. From hits "Good 4 U" to "Drivers License," she took the billboard charts by storm and became a household name.

Fans of Olivia Rodrigo everywhere can rejoice knowing that they're about to get a special glimpse into the 18-year-old artist's life and work. Disney+ will be releasing her brand new documentary called Olivia Rodrigo: driving home 2 u (a Sour film) on March 25, 2022.

Olivia's Documentary Offers Behind-the-Scenes Footage

The majority of the film will show Olivia's road trip from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles, sharing behind-the-scenes footage of what it was like to record her hit album "Sour."

The film will feature new live arrangements of some of Olivia's most famous songs, and you'll see her perform them at places like Red Rock Canyon State Park, Roy's Motel & Cafe, and more. There will also be special guest performances by Jacob Collier, Blu DeTiger and Towa Bird.

“This is a unique film experience where for the first-time fans will understand how her album came to be and why it was such a personal journey for Olivia,” Ayo Davis, president for Disney Branded Television, said. “This is not a concert film per se, but really, an opportunity to experience first-hand how Olivia Rodrigo became one of the biggest music stars of the day—and a chance to see her perform the songs from Sour like never before.”

There's no doubt Olivia's fans are already counting down the days to catch such an intimate look into her artistry and life.
