On a recent episode of The Big Podcast, NBA star Shaquille O'Neal came straight out to say he doesn't support the coronavirus vaccine mandates people are facing across the country. He spoke to Nischelle Turner about it briefly, and they came to a head on the matter.

Shaq Doesn't Think Anyone Should Be "Forced"

"Look, I encourage everybody to be safe and take care of your family, I do," Shaq said. "But there's still some people that don't wanna take it. And you shouldn't have to be forced to take something you don't want."

Nischelle pushed back and responded, "I don't think people are being forced to take it. We have a mandate at CBS."

"That's forced," Shaq interjected and repeated himself. "That's forced."

"No, it's not forced," Nischelle said.

"It is forced," Shaq concluded. "Because if the man won't take it the man gonna get fired."

Gina Carano shared the brief clip on her Twitter feed. We've never heard Shaq's opinion on the mandates ever before. Plus, it's rare to hear an athlete at the level of Shaq speak up about the mandates in such a definitive way. We have a sneaky feeling that even more will follow suit.
