National Institutes Of Health Grants Dr. Peter Daszak $653,392 To Study Bat Coronaviruses In The Wild

After more than two years of a coronavirus pandemic that has seemingly changed the world forever, people are ready for it to end—and they certainly don't want another similar virus taking over our society. But the National Institutes of Health has granted more than half a million dollars to a doctor who is going to study bat coronaviruses.

Dr. Fauci has become one of the least trusted experts in American society after his net worth almost doubled from $7.5 million to $12.6 million during the pandemic and we found out that he once ran a lab that drugged dogs to be eaten alive by flies. Another suspicious doctor is getting a huge grant from the federal government to conduct some shady research on coronaviruses, leaving many people wondering what kind of catastrophe will come from it as a result.

National Institutes of Health Grants Dr. Peter Daszak $653,392 To Study Bat Coronaviruses in the Wild

It was reported on October 1 that Dr. Peter Daszak was awarded a grant from the NIH in the amount of $653,392 to study bat coronaviruses in the wild. The research will take place in Myanmar, Laos, and Vietnam, including "community-based surveys and biological sampling of people frequently exposed to wildlife" in these areas. The grant says the research will include "sampling and PCR screening of bats and other wildlife at community surveillance sites."

People are sharing this news on Twitter and practically begging the doctors involved and the NIH not to conduct this risky research, as the consequences are entirely unknown. They're particularly concerned about the part of the grant that promises "full genome sequencing and cell entry assays to assess ability to infect human cells."

Biotech VC William Eden tweets, "If there were any Justice in the world there would at least be an extremely thorough investigation, and an immediate ban on collecting samples, running infectivity assays in human cells, and storing or transporting live viruses.

There is concern that Daszak is being funded to do the same thing that many people believe caused the coronavirus pandemic in the first place. But in the same breath, people are not expecting there to be any accountability for these federal organizations.

"There is a failure of leadership and common sense so profound we should shut down the NIH immediately and fire anyone involved, before starting with a clean slate," Eden continued. "There is no sanity left in the system."
