We already know that Sydney Sweeney felt uncomfortable at one point on the set of season 2 of Euphoria. She requested that the director, Sam Levinson, cut out a scene of her being topless because she felt like it was unnecessary for her character's storyline. He acquiesced, and she claims she hasn't had any issues since then.

Minka Kelly Declined To Do a Nude Scene

On Minka's first day on the set of Euphoria, there was a nude scene in the script that she was supposed to shoot. She tells Vanity Fair in a recent interview that the original scene had her purple dress falling to the ground, which would have exposed her naked body. Sam thought "it would be more interesting" that way, but Minka had something different in mind.

“That was my first day as a guest on this new show, and I just didn’t feel comfortable standing there naked," she admitted.

Instead of agreeing to do the scene as scripted, she told Sam she wasn't okay with it, much like Sydney did previously. Minka ended up just unzipping her dress without the full nudity.

“I said, ‘I’d love to do this scene, but I think we can keep my dress on,’” she recalled. “He was like, ‘Okay!’ He didn’t even hesitate. And he shot a beautiful scene and got exactly what he wanted.”

The 41-year-old actor says she feels safe with Sam and appreciates that he is willing to change things around when the actors request it. Although both actresses have expressed their gratitude for the director's willingness to tweak the script, we can't help but wonder why there are so many nude scenes in the script in the first place—and why there would be more than one occasion when the women felt uncomfortable with the requested nudity on set.
