The victim, Dolores Padilla Marrero, had spent March 13, 2022, celebrating her 93rd birthday with family before returning to her apartment at the St. Joseph Garden Courts senior living facility in Orlando. Hours later, prosecutors say Javier Rosado Martinez, who was dating one of her daughters, went to the residence after skipping the birthday celebration. Another resident unknowingly let him inside the building.
