Lady Gaga Wore Her Holiday Makeup Collection On The Set Of ‘House Of Gucci'

In the much-anticipated Ridley Scott film, which comes out November 24, Lady Gaga stars as the infamous Patrizia Reggiani Martinelli, the ex-wife of Gucci heir Maurizio Gucci, who was convicted of his murder.
On set for House of Gucci, and in her true fashion, Gaga serves up some major style moments, but in real life, the singer was inspired by her time shooting the movie in Italy, which led to the creation of the first-ever holiday collection with her cosmetics brand Haus Laboratories, Casa Gaga Italian Glam Collection.
The high-key eyeliners, vivid blushes, and bold lipsticks in the limited-edition capsule are inspired by the more than 50 separate looks featured in the film, with certain products paying even more overt homage to ‘70s era Italy, according to Sarah Tanno, the Oscar winner’s longtime makeup artist and global artistry director for Haus Laboratories.
“It took us some time to develop and make sure it was absolutely perfect,” Tanno told Vanity Fair, describing how the collection came together on location while researching “all things Italian,” from iconic screen stars to period fashion codes. “We were using early iterations throughout, testing it out on and off set,” she says of the era-appropriate formulas that resulted.
