Move Over, Kendall Jenner. Sara Sampaio And Jasmine Tookes Have The Feminine Style We Crave

Kendall Jenner has the looks of a model and the style of an icon. The supermodel’s style is cool, casual, and trendy. She wears jeans, sneakers, and a crop top like nobody else. And we love that for her. But our obsession with the Kardashian sister means we’re totally overlooking a couple of style queens. If you’re not yet familiar with icons Sara Sampaio and Jasmine Tookes, you’re about to be. 

Sara Sampaio

Sara Sampaio is a Portuguese model and actress. She’s best known for being a Victoria’s Secret Angel, Giorgio Armani beauty ambassador, and for her appearance in Sports Illustrated. Sara is a natural beauty, but good genes alone didn’t get her to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.  It took her not one, not two, but three tries to get her wings as a VS Angel. 

Sara is fabulous on and off the runway. She’s bubbly and energetic, and her style is elegant, feminine, and timeless. Her closet consists of floral dresses, power suits, and matching workout sets. While you’re keeping up with Kendall, we’d like to go shopping with Sara. 

Jasmine Tookes

Jasmine Tookes is another style icon whom we can’t take our eyes off of. The Victoria’s Secret Angel has a YouTube channel where she shares makeup tutorials, get ready with me vlogs, and behind-the-scenes secrets from the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. 

The VS Model had a big year in her personal life, getting engaged to her longtime boyfriend Juan David Borrero in September 2020, followed by their wedding a year later in Ecuador. Jasmine looked nothing short of regal on her wedding day in a full ball gown with a lace bodice and cathedral-length veil.

Jasmine’s style is classy, simple, and modern. She’s seriously so gorgeous, and we can’t get enough of her wardrobe! Now let’s take a look at some of the styles that set these girls apart.

Feminine Florals and Prints

Every year summer comes and goes, but not without an abundance of florals. Elegant feminine florals are a go-to look for these icons.

We love how the girls style the dresses with dainty jewelry, simple hairstyles, and glowy makeup. The florals are stunning on their own, but we especially adore the fitted bodice with puffy sleeves on a timeless a-line silhouette.

Fruit print is a fun alternative to florals. 

You’ll see this look time and time again on these girls, whether they’re on vacation, at a bridal shower, or out for afternoon tea with friends. We see Kendall in feminine floral dresses from time to time, but we would love to see even more of it from her!

Slip dresses are in, and we don’t want them to go anywhere. They’re stunning and sophisticated but simple and comfortable. There’s a reason we’re seeing these style icons in slip-dresses everywhere. 

The girls make a statement in luxurious pure silk and saturated solid colors. I mean, look at Sara in this earthy green and Jasmine in this bold blue. We can’t get enough of it!

If there’s one style we see these girls rocking time after time, it’s all-white ensembles. White linen is classy and breathable, making it perfect for summer weather. 

No white after Labor Day? Okay, we’ll play by the rules. But we’ll be dreaming of these all-white ensembles until we can pull them out again next summer.

The Victoria Secret Angels are known for their body-sculpting workouts. The models definitely have good genes, but being a top model requires dedication to nutrition and exercise. And just as you would expect, they work out in style too.

Their go-to workout look is a matching sports bra and leggings in a solid color. You might not be a Victoria’s Secret Angel, but there’s nothing stopping you from working out like one.
