The child star was always adorable, with big cheeks and a huge grin, but today he is almost unrecognizable. Josh Peck is now 35 years old and starring in How I Met Your Father as Drew — and he's cuter than ever.

Josh Peck Had a Serious Glow Up

Peck opened up to Forbes about what his journey has been like since he starred in Drake & Josh. He was only 10 years old when he initially started acting.

"I had never been anything other than a working actor," he said. "But over those twenty years, I also lost 100 pounds, got sober from drugs and alcohol, started a whole new career in social media when showbiz had stalled out on me." He even got married and had a child, Max, along the way.

He got sober in 2008 and still attends Alcoholics Anonymous meetings in order to maintain his sobriety. His brand new memoir titled Happy People Are Annoying was just released today, and it documents his journey from adorable child star to fulfilled father and husband.

When asked what kind of advice he would give his younger self, he responded, "I don't know if I'd give him any advice because the truth is, I don't know if I'd be capable of hearing it. I was in survival mode, doing my best to wrestle with being this public person while so insecure in my own skin."

"I loved the work I was doing but not much more," he continued. "They say the teacher reveals themselves when the student is ready. But I wasn't ready. If I had to say something, I'd tell him he's awesome and not to be so hard on himself."

It's clear that Peck has worked through a lot of his childhood insecurities and is in a good place in his life. Of course, the internet can't help but notice what a glow up he's had.

It was recently announced that Peck will also star in Christopher Nolan's upcoming movie Oppenheimer, alongside Cillian Murphy.
