JK Rowling Slams Lilly Tino Over Disney Bathroom Selfies: “He Wants Women And Girls In The Background”
JK Rowling says Lilly Tino is using women and girls as trophies in his bathroom selfies.

The backlash against Lilly Tino isn’t slowing down, and now JK Rowling has weighed in.
The bestselling author called out the problematic "trans" TikTok creator after he defended taking mirror selfies inside a women’s restroom at Disney World. The photos included visible reflections of several women and young girls, none of whom gave consent to be in the frame. Critics quickly pointed out that the incident may have violated Florida’s privacy and voyeurism laws.
Tino brushed off the outrage by comparing himself to celebrities who’ve also taken photos in women’s restrooms. What he failed to mention, though, was that most of those photos didn’t include other people, especially children, unwittingly caught in the background.
JK Rowling didn’t hold back. “This man’s bathroom photos are trophies,” she wrote on X. “He wants women and girls in the background because it proves he’s violating women’s boundaries. Without actual females there as props all he’s got is a selfie of a scary-looking creep in mouse ears, which isn’t remotely what he’s after.”
Online reports claim one woman has already taken legal action. A Change.org petition calling for Tino to be banned from TikTok and Disney parks has now passed 289,000 signatures. The petition, started by a self-described “concerned parent,” says his actions are “not only misleading but also dangerous.”
Tino hasn’t responded to the Disney bathroom backlash, but this isn’t the first time he’s come under fire.
He’s already known for recording TikToks where he complains about being misgendered by waiters, demands managers correct their staff, and then posts the clips for thousands of viewers. In one video, he reportedly said, “I’m not always the easiest customer. And also they deserve it, because they’re servers.” Viewers say the pattern is clear: provoke, film, play victim, repeat.
It’s also not the first time Tino has been accused of projecting his identity onto others. Last year, he claimed Kurt Cobain was “probably trans,” citing the musician’s past quotes about femininity and crossdressing. “That is clear-cut gender dysphoria,” he said in a video. The statement didn’t sit well with Cobain fans or the LGBTQ+ community, who called the assumption tone-deaf and opportunistic.
To make matters worse, several users have raised concerns about the sexual content Tino promotes on Patreon, describing it as aggressive and exploitative. One Redditor claimed they watched a video in which Tino participated in a violent kink scene involving another woman and a man, calling it “disturbing” and “abusive.”
Since the Disney photo blew up, Tino has continued to lose followers, and people are calling for his account to get banned. TikTok hasn't issued a statement, and neither has Disney.
