Jennifer Lawrence Wants To Be A “Sexy Mom,” And Honestly, We Get It

Jennifer Lawrence may be an Oscar-winning actress, but her latest beauty goal is one plenty of moms will understand: looking like she has it all together, even when she doesn’t. “I want to be a sexy mom,” Lawrence told The Cut in a new cover interview. The mother of two explained that she wants to arrive at school drop-off looking put together, even on mornings when she’s just rolled out of bed. Honestly? Same. Motherhood changes your life in just about every way imaginable, but it doesn’t mean you stop wanting to feel beautiful. Between packing lunches, finding missing shoes, and getting everyone out the door, a mom might have less time to get ready, but that doesn’t mean she’s lost interest in feeling like herself. A Little Effortless Glamour Lawrence spoke to The Cut while promoting her new haircare brand , mes° , pronounced “mess.” The line, which she created with biotech entrepreneur Jasmina Aganovic, is meant to fit into the messiness of everyday life, with products that help hair look good without requiring a full salon routine. She was also candid about the beauty choices behind her own look. The Cut reported that Lawrence has had a breast augmentation and plans to get a facelift someday. Of course, being a “sexy mom” doesn’t require plastic surgery, a celebrity budget, or even a perfect blowout. For one woman, it might mean putting on a favorite pair of jeans and a little lipstick. For another, it’s making time to exercise, wearing perfume, or getting dressed in something that makes her feel confident. We appreciate JLaw’s honesty.
