Jasmine admits in an interview with Vogue that she struggled with fatigue during the first trimester of her pregnancy. "I was so tired to the point I couldn't even read emails coming through—I'd fall asleep sitting at my computer," she says. "I almost fell asleep driving my car. The tiredness was something I had never experienced." She wanted the maternity photos to be special, so she asked Jerome Duran to photograph her and her husband. They decided to go for a minimal look in black and white. "I'm a firm believer that whatever I feel—and any stress that I'm carrying—can very easily transfer to the baby," she adds.
