"Shut The F*ck Up": Jamie Lee Curtis Slams Bella Ramsey's Joke At Critics Choice Award
The internet really does not like Jamie Lee Curtis right now.

Jamie Lee Curtis is slammed for posting a photo of Bella Ramsey on Instagram with the caption, "ARE YOU F-INFG ME! @arianadebose IS A QUEEN! #backthef*ckoff #shutthef*ckup."
Here's some context: At the recent Critics Choice Awards, Bella Ramsey and Anthony Ramos listed the "famous voices" nominated for Best Song. Ramsey then joked that Ariana Debose, a talented Academy Award winner for the musical West Side Story, was among “the actors who also think that they’re singers."
Debose – who starred in Broadway musicals including Hamilton, mind you – hit back on Instagram later on: "No, I didn't find it funny. Lol," she said.
Curtis didn't find it amusing either, and she took to Instagram to release her frustrations. However, Ramsey was only reading the lines off the teleprompter. If anything, the blame should be placed on the Critics Choice Awards writers, not Ramsey. And by Curtis posting a photo of The Last of Us star for her 6 million followers, she's setting Ramsey up to become a target. It's just not a good look overall.
Curtis's comments caused her other "problematic" takes to resurface, including what she said about Knives Out costar Ana De Armas. According to ScreenTime, Curtis assumed Armas had "just arrived" from Cuba when they filmed Knives Out. "I made an assumption that she was an inexperienced, unsophisticated young woman," Curtis told Elle. Why would she assume this?
Curtis cannot escape the wrath of the internet. In March 2023, she faced backlash for "robbing" Angela Bassett and Stephanie Hsu of an Oscar win. The Freaky Friday star also came under fire for sharing a photo on Instagram that featured an alleged naked child stuffed in a bin hanging on her wall. She later took down the post and addressed it on social media. "Last week I posted a picture of some chairs that included a photograph on the wall by an artist that was gifted to me 20 years ago," she wrote. "I understand it has disturbed some people."
"As I have said, I am a truth teller so here's the truth," she continued. "It's a picture of a child, taken by her mother, of her playing in their backyard in a tub of water. Nothing more, nothing less. I took down the post because I didn't want to keep something up that upset anyone."
