Meet Jamie Lee Curtis's transgender daughter, Ruby, the self-proclaimed "proud furry" and "Goblin Lover."

In a 2022 interview with the Spanish publication Cadena SER, Curtis defended Ruby. "I have a trans daughter," she said. "There are threats against her life. Just her existence as a human being. There are people that want to annihilate her and people like her," adding it's as though we haven't learn from "fascism" and their "extermination of human beings."

Then, the Freaky Friday star addressed herself in the third person: "So Jamie Lee Curtis is scared. And you should be, too. And Jamie Lee Curtis has a voice, and she's trying to use it. And you should, too. And that's how we change things." And Jamie Lee Curtis should listen to the women voicing their concerns about men invading their spaces.

A snippet of the video was uploaded to X (formerly Twitter) only to attract women who don't agree with her sentiments.

Pro-woman account @Serena_Partrick quote-tweeted the video and wrote, "No one wants annihilate your goblin porn obsessed son, Jamie, we just want him to stay out of women's spaces."

Another woman named Mary commented, "I have no desire to 'annihilate' anyone. I have a desire to stop the most homophobic and misogynistic movement of my time."

"Hi @jamieleecurtis," tweeted @Terfs_R. "You have an autogynephile SON. His FETISH is dressing up as a woman. It TURNS HIM ON. Stop spreading lies! Fetishist men should keep their fetishes to themselves. Children should NEVER be transed! It is child abuse. End of."

Curtis discussed making gendered awards "more inclusive" after winning an Academy Award in 2023. She dedicated her Oscar trophy to Ruby. "Obviously, I would like to see a lot more women be nominated so there is gender parity in all the areas and branches,” she said. "I think we are getting there, but we are not anywhere near there."

She continued, “As the mother of a trans daughter, I completely understand that, and yet to de-gender the category also, I’m concerned will diminish the opportunities for women, which is also something I have been working hard to promote. So it is a complicated question, but I think the most important thing is inclusivity and more women.” Good luck with bringing more opportunities for women when you're allowing men to redefine them and take what's theirs.
