If you’ve ever wanted to capture the last scene of Cinderella where she rides in a horse-drawn carriage on her wedding day, here’s your chance. Disney has partnered with Allure Bridals to create a line called “Disney Fairytale Wedding Collection,” which consists of 16 princess-themed wedding dresses. The collection is set to hit stores in April, and the prices start from $1,200 and can go up as high as $10,000 - a price tag that some are willing to pay for their “happily ever after”!

So many brides grow up admiring their favorite Disney Princess characters and are inspired by their journeys, gowns, and stories of the classic films.

Kelly Crum, CEO of Allure Bridals, stated, “So many brides grow up admiring their favorite Disney Princess characters and are inspired by their journeys, gowns, and stories of the classic films. Our design team worked tirelessly on each of these incredible gowns, as each dress features intricate detailing specifically inspired by the timeless characters known and loved by all of us."

A Sneak Peek of the Princess Collection

Disney hasn’t unveiled all sixteen dresses just yet, as New York Bridal Fashion Week in April will be the launching event for the entire collection. Until then, Disney has given the public a glimpse of their take on Belle’s, Tiana’s, and Ariel’s wedding dresses.

Belle

Looking like a royal is not just reserved for Kate and Meghan anymore. If you’re more of a Belle from Beauty and the Beast and you fantasize about finding love in a magical enchanted castle, this back buttoned-down gown with off the shoulder sleeves and feminine frills is for you. This dress is enough to make any girl feel like the belle of the ball as she walks down the aisle with her “beast.”

Tiana

If you’re enchanted by the beautiful and hardworking Tiana from The Princess and the Frog, her form-fitting, v-shaped bodice with a cascading skirt will bring a taste of the mystical Louisiana bayous to your wedding. The gown is complete with sparkling vine and ivy blossom embellishments and will be one of the first dresses to be released, starting at $3,500. Perhaps this piece will inspire us to break the magic spell and walk down the aisle with our prince - even if we have to kiss a frog!

Ariel

Life under the sea couldn’t be better for any princess mermaid with this strapless form-fitting, floor-length gown complete with sleek and ruffled layers at the bottom. The gorgeous blend of a formal bodice with a splash of unexpected flare at the bottom is definitely a nod to the fiery redhead’s style.

Looking like a royal is not just reserved for Kate and Meghan anymore.

Closing Thoughts

Seven of the sixteen dresses will be showcased at Kleinfeld Bridal, the store that made TLC’s series Say Yes to the Dress famous. The collection will feature these seven fairytale dresses at their New York City and Toronto locations beginning in May of this year - just in time for summer and fall weddings. Some of the other Disney Princesses featured are Pocahontas, Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Rapunzel, and Aurora - and their styles will range in classic bridal shapes and fabrics.
